We came here on a Thursday night and was suprised to see they had daily specials! it was $4 off rolls (was a little disappointed it wasn't off speciality rolls as it didn't specify which rolls), but we still got 1 speciality roll & 2 traditional rolls. It was delicious! But the star of the show was the salmon crispy rice. The presentation was great but the crispy rice was phenomenal, so many delicious flavors and textures packed into a bite and a pretty good price. I would come back just for that. Yatai is located in Transfer co food hall and was easy to find. We ordered at the counter and then decided to sit at one of the tables. Loved the ambiance. I definitely would recommend this place and will be back again!

Good food. Good service. Ordered delivery. Spicy tuna roll and quesabirria. Just cause I wanted to try it. And it's good.

The ambiance and vibe of the place was so nice! I didn’t feel like it was part of the food hall at all. Definitely a nice spot for a date night! We ordered Ramen and Birria Ramen. Both were delicious but the Ramen was for sure my favorite!! We’ll be back soon!

Sushi was super overpriced for what it was. Didn’t try the ramen but would give it a shot. Don’t waste your money on the sushi. Y Chirashi slices were so thin without any real fish or seafood diversity. Really a glorified rice bowl for 30

Service was quick and friendly. The Birria ramen was delicious and very filling. It definitely had a kick to it, but I wouldn't say it was crazy spicy...just enough. The noodles aren't something I'd eat on a first date with all the slurping. :) There is seating next to the bar along with some tables, in addition to the normal seating around Transfer.

Sitting at the top of my RTP ramen tier list with an A+ rating, Yatai's ramen is the top-notch Japanese ramen you can find in the RTP region.Certainly, it incorporates a touch of Mexican-style flavor, such as salsa, and uses salsa macha as the spice base. However, this doesn't overpower the pork/chicken mixed tonkotsu broth, chashu, and the soft-boiled egg. Instead, it acts as the icing on the cake, making this ramen even more delightful to enjoy. It is a great example of how fusion-style food can be executed well to preserve what it should be, without turning it upside down but rather enhancing it with the chef's cultural pride. In conclusion, this establishment is a rare find in the RTP, offering a perfectly balanced Japanese-fusion ramen. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best ramen in the region.

Wow - not sure how this place exists. Tried after reading great reviews and wanted broth for my sick wife. Their special 14-16 hour broth for me is worse than plain water .., moreover, chef is the nastiest dude … no wonder there is no one at the restaurant. Wish him luck that the place succeeds (and hopefully some better taste).

Overall Rating: 4.9/10This spot, nestled in the Food Hall, boasts its dedicated section and seating, presenting an appealing setup. While the place looks inviting and the food is generally good.Service: 5.2/10The staff are friendly and accommodating, offering to send a text message when your order is ready, enhancing the convenience for guests.Ramen: 5.9/10Though the ramen presents beautifully, its taste doesn't fully deliver. The broth leans on the salty side, and the noodles were undercooked, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the dish.Beef Taco: 8.2/10A delightful surprise, this taco exceeded expectations with its perfect cooking and two distinct sauces that added depth to its flavor.Value: 2.1/10The pricing feels steep at $24 for ramen and a single taco, especially when considering the taco's cost is just $4. Despite inquiring about the total, being reassured of its accuracy did little to mitigate the sticker shock, suggesting a potential oversight in pricing.
