“I’m excited that I get to stop by the bakery today. I had the best scone of my life there three months ago, and I’m not a scone girl typically. It was cheddar and chive. I only bought two, taken ‘to go’, to accompany dinner that night, one for me and one for the beau. That was pure stupidity. A) I should have eaten his and kept the purchase to myself, but I didn’t. B) I should not have tried a pinch off my cheddar and chive scone in the car, as I was already twenty-ish miles away from the bakery. I almost turned the car around to go buy more. C) I should have turned around and gone back there to buy them all. Today, I will shop with knowledge. ?”
“I stop here on Wednesdays and Saturdays occasionally. It’s a quaint little shop with lots of good coffee options. They have other drinks also like sodas and such. They have a refrigerator that has food options like Mac and cheese and salads which is nice. There’s also snacks like chips. In the front part it’s kind of like a little “boutique” almost, with different gift items and small interesting things to buy, like funny magnets, jewelry, honey, soap, etc. In the main part is a small seating area and they have a game big checkers (may have been other games too). Beyond that is another seating area that’s really cute and cozy, I’ve even seen people have business meetings in here. This is also where you find the bathroom, which is really spacious and clean.Parking: There’s street parking in front of the shop. It’s usually not hard to find a space, they are not parallel spots.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.”
“Just moved to Robbins and ordered Omar's pizza tonight. Very impressed, the pizza was fabulous! Definitely our new "pizza night" go to! Thank you for the wonderful pies and fast service ❤️”
“They have a great selection. The food was awesome, and prices are great. I had questions about the menu items as I'm not great with Spanish, but the ladies here explained it to me well with enthusiasm. I will most definitely be back.”
“A quaint little restaurant with a home town atmosphere. Food is always good. Prices are very reasonable.Parking: Street parking in front of the restaurant and a free parking lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: This is a family restaurant and the staff loves children”
“You want a very good cheese burger this is the place. I had the steak sandwich and the double cheese burger and fries and it is all excellent!!! Cindy and her co worker do a excellent job!”
“The chicken is so good. Pizza delicious. Oh yes and if you like your hamburger all the way, be ready for chili, slaw and mustard. Crazy good Free refills on in house drinks. I love promoting private owned home town businesses. I love this ”
“Food can be good...but is not always consistent. And if you call an order in, it will take twice as long as they tell you to make your order. So, if they say it'll be 30 minutes, it'll actually be an hour.”
“I enjoyed my experience at the store and loved being able to sample many products sold inside prior to purchasing them. As others have stated, their fruitcake is really a 'nut' cake. It was disappointing since we love fruitcakes that contain lots of candied fruit, are very moist, etc. and this was none one of those. But all the other products we purchased were local, delicious and high-quality. Customer service was spot-on, and despite being extremely crowded I was able to check out quickly. No phone service (t-mobile) within a couple miles of this place, so ensure you know where you're going.”
“Cozy, friendly staff. The food, shrimp and scallops were excellent! Fresh and lighty battered. Actually, it's the best I've had. Was so darn good, I ordered two more to go ( don't judge me)! Excellent food. I, without hesitation, recommend this establishment. ☺️”
“Ben's ice cream is great. For $5 apiece, we got gigantic ice cream scoops (peach, of course!) On a waffle cone. The cones are homemade and delicious, as is the ice cream (again, highly recommend getting peach while they're in season). It was almost too much ice cream for one person, darn near halfway to a meal.”
“As this Dunkin is located inside a busy Pilot TRUCK stop, waiting in line to pay for your purchase can be either very quick, or can take a while if the Pilot is busy.Their donuts were fresh, and they have a good selection. The Dunkin section of THIS store is much larger than some in other Pilot's. It has more coffee types to choose from, and there is plenty of room to access sugar, creamer etc without bumping into other customers. The reason for deducting one star is because of the location of the donuts. They are close to the entrance of the store. That wouldn't be an issue if the DISPLAY case wasn't situated so LOW. This makes getting a donut out much more difficult than it should be. Especially the ones on the bottom row.I nearly dropped one of the doughnuts on the floor. I can't imagine how frustrating it would be for a person who is of average height (especially men) who want to purchase doughnuts. Trying to hold the display door open while using the tweezers to get a donut while holding a bag open a bag to insert it into without dropping it is juggling act.I believe that Dunkin would sell more doughnuts if the display case was easier to access.”
“Under new management. These people are working hard to earn our business. We have tried most of the items on the menu. The steak served only on Saturday was awesome! Cooked perfectly. Juicy & tender. The flounder & shrimp on Friday were better than any seafood specialty resturant. The waitress is always eager to please. The only thing I would change… open for breakfast.Vegetarian options: The salad was great!Dietary restrictions: If you tell them… they will prepare to your specifications.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu. Booster chairs.”
“What a great experience ! Cagle's is a true diner from years past. We walked in seated ourselves, but our server quickly brought us menus. All the staff were young teenagers and seemed as if they were really enjoying themselves. The menu offers alot of options . I had a BLT for $3.75!!!! My daughters had a chicken wrap and my husband had the Double Bacon Cheeseburger one of the most expensive items on the menu for $6.50 :) There was a steady stream of customers, most seemed to be locals and there were several take out orders. It was an experience from yesteryear with good service, good food and good prices.”
“Totally classic roadside family restaurant from days past. Absolutely spotless inside, friendly staff, great food, a huge menu and most importantly great coffee!”
“I used the Wendy's app to place our order. The food was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. Everything was still nice and hot. I didn't have to interact with anyone as the order had been placed on the shelf as directed in the app.Parking: The parking at this particular location is the downside in my personal opinion, especially after dark. They have 4 parking spots in front of the store, with 2 of them being reserved handicapped spots. Then another several spots off to the side but these spots are right at the drive thru, so leaving can be tricky if the line is backed up. Your best bet is to park facing 211, on the other side of the gas pumps. Being this location is a truck stop, gas station, and Wendy's, space is limited.”
“Stellar scoops is a great go-to ice cream parlor when in the area! Beautiful place to be during the summer especially! Most importantly they have delicious ice cream, friendly people, quick service, and many flavors! ? 5/5”
