I just wanted to say that I was thoroughly impressed with everything about your Saturday evening presentation. The restaurant was beautiful, the staff was courteous and professional and the food was delicious. My steak was a perfect medium rare, as ordered, and your salad bar was stocked with fresh ingredients! Thank you so much and we will be back. I have told may people already!
Absolutely horrible I can't even get this place a third strike. I got soup couple weeks ago with a grilled cheese it was $12 to go.. it was absolutely horrible. Nothing that can vegetables and no taste.. in a cup with very little meat. But today I was starving and went and ordered a hamburger steak and waited for 15 minutes.. when I got home and open the box, they were labels from the vegetables, chopped up in the onions and peppers. The okra was not cooked through.. with hair to boot and the third strike was the meat was so greasy. I can't imagine they left any grease at the place.. I went to the bathroom while I was waiting, no toilet paper no paper towels and so many flies on the salad bar. I feel sorry for whoever to eat that tonight.. not but a couple of customers the whole time I was there..It is unacceptable for these people not to be working any better than that. The owner really need to take note of the employees.. lounging around the dining room and talking on their cell phones while there's trash on the floor. Jus sayin

Portions have really gotten smaller. 4 fries on my fish plate. Looks like they took 1 flounder and cut it in half. Food was good, but it looked like a child’s plate.

Service is friendly and helpful. I would love to see a more diverse sides as most of them are deep fried. But what they do have is always good. The lunch specials are always great to get as they get it out quickly. If you are looking for a nice meal for a reasonable price this is the best in Rockingham.

Owner Marsha is serving slaw with her hands on sandwiches while she is eating chicken wings! Very nasty people and places. They drop stuff on the floor and still serve it. Never wash there hands and just about everything is heated in a microwave. They pay and work there employees like slaves. Run back forth to food loin cause they can't afford to keep food or supplies. Rude and seen three cock roaches as well. Not a place to go or eat.
Went in for a Burger for my Husband quick n saw their salad bar! It was fresh n crispy n filling. I had the salad n a cpl grapes/cherries while I waited for it take out.Very satisfying

While the staff were friendly, I can only hope this was a bad night. Our meals were overcooked, or barely edible. The brisket was dry, the Brunswick Stew was bad, hush puppies were eh, and pulled pork was the saving grace. I shall not be a repeat customer.

The food was very good. We were there on Thursday. They were about 1/3 full. We had their specials he- burnt brisket end she 1/3 rack of ribs. both cooked properly. Rating is due to the service of our waitress, Hadley. She was prompt to begin and then slacked off after delivering our meals. We had to ask for napkins and catch her attention to get a water refill, which was full of ice. My husband commented that the difference between a waitress and wait staff was that a waitress would remember your order and he had ordered water no ice. We watched one waitress, a redhead hustle, and frequently check back with all of her customers. When finished, we waited for several minites for her to get off her phone. I went to the restroom, and as she was still on her phone, when i returned, I secured a to go box. We boxed up our food. She eventually brought our tcket and said she would be right back. She then started chatting with the other waitresses, rang up two large tickets, and took them to the other dining room. When she returned, she took to her phone again. We waited 3 minutes then took our ticket to her to ring up. We did not tip her - a rarity for us. She probably has no idea why.

Went there for dinner tonight to be told the T Bone was written on the menu by mistake they have ribeye steak which was fine. We ordered a ribeye as well as the other 3 tables around us. We waited a hour to be told the ribeyes were still frozen. If we were told upfront I wouldn’t have minded something simple from the menu we just wanted to eat. We left without food and so did the others.
