Angela and Amanda have been our waitress. Several timesuch down-to-earth, wonderful people. The food is excellent. Best breakfast spot in Rocky, mount, Nashville and red Ark a month. And don't forget to have some of the potatoes. Pancakes are pancakes are as big as the plate. Good country, home cooking 10 out of 10 would recommand.Parking: In the mornings, you might have to circle the parking lot once or twice, but it's that goodKid-friendliness: It's a family kinda place but can get loud when it's packed, so maybe not small infants

The food was comparable to K&W and about the same price, although I could only get two sides with my plate. It was crowded and very loud. One of the wait staff had the nerve to comment on my seemingly poor food choices. Parking was horrendous and it took two minutes just to negotiate my way out of the parking lot.

Just off 95 in Dortches, NC. This local favorite is a must stop. Food was delicious and the people were so nice. We will be making this a traditional stop on our way south.Parking: Large enough for Class A.

Stopped here on the way home from Fla. Found it by accident pulling off I-95 for gas. While the wife was in the ladies room, I did a google map search for “breakfast restaurants” and Smith’s popped up…. Right down the street and around the corner. So glad I found. A real authentic small town North Carolina restaurant filled with locals and serving delicious generously proportioned food & good coffee. Waitress was especially pleasant & friendly and a real delight.Eat here if you’re in the area. You will not be disappointed.
