The building and ambience were great, but the food was lacking. I ordered the beef brisket and was shocked. They charged $23 dollars for 1/4 pound of brisket! It came out with sauce on it (not advertised on the menu), brisket never gets sauce. The meat speaks for itself. Anyway, I may go back to try something else but probably won’t. The staff was nice though. If you want a real bbq experience, try Prime BBQ in Knightdale.

My collards were wonderful, my string beans were nearly raw. I expected pork ribs and got beef ribs. The pulled pork was not consistent with eastern North Carolina barbecue. The atmosphere is wonderful.

We had the BEST barbecue dinner here! My husband had the salmon and I had the chicken. Both were carefully dry-rbbed and slow smoke/cooked to perfection. The sides were absolutely delicious! The prices are lower than most and the wait staff very accommodating. If you are anywhere near this restaurant, don't miss it!

The atmosphere is amazing... the food is even better. The macaroni and cheese was best I've ever had and the ribeye was yummy and cooked perfectly... let's not forget the coleslaw.... fantastic.... when I first walked in I thought I was under dressed but everyone else was dressed the same as me... casual but definitely felt upscale. The best part was... the prices were very reasonable. To top it all off... the Chef/Owner greeted us right at our table... made the experience perfect. Can't wait to go back again.Kid-friendliness: There were other kids there just not with us.

Delicious filet mignon, great service. The chili was really good too. The meat in the chili melts in your mouth. Such a cool location. It all made for a perfect lunch date with the hubby.

Lovely place. It's a bit hard to find if you aren't from here. Ordered extra spicy wings, but they came normal. Didn't know you had to add your own sauce (the bottle we were given was out of date, but I feel like they just reused the bottle, and it was fine. Ordered wings(fall off the bone) burger (so juicy), fries(seasoned perfectly), filet mignon(wifey enjoyed it). The sweet tea was heavanly.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of Gluten and Dairy free itemsParking: Park in the main "lot" and walk to building 1.(closest building to main road)

This was my first time dining in at this place. The atmosphere was comfortable and the food was great. My first experience was takeout and it wasn't that pleasant, but it was much better this time. My server was name Chris and he was very reliable and kind. I would definitely recommend this place.

The food was plentyful. Typical BBQ food we love. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was yummy, crispy on the outside and the tomato slice was thick. Meats were cooked to perfection. Desserts, we had sweet potato pie a d sweet potato cheesecake. Generous slices and so decadent. Wish we had been there for live music. Our server was so helpful and friendly.

Prime Smokehouse has amazing food and amazing service! Anna May was such a delight and was so welcoming upon my arrival. My waitress took great care of me, and offered delicious suggestions for food. I had the pleasure of also speaking with Yalem, the owner, and she is wonderful at what she does. I will have to be back again soon and love supporting well run establishments like this!
