We stopped in there on March 24th for a bite to eat on our way home to Florida Waitress got our drinks and our order when our food got there we ordered country style ham it was over cooked husband ordered eggs over medium but the whites were runny The gravy wasn't even hot My mother ordered a grilled cheese the cheese wasn't even hot hash browns we're overcooked Brown one side and not Brown on other side and also we noticed one of the waitresses or workers she was washing the floor spreading water mopping was the first time I ever saw such a thing when they were still working trying to cook not very impressive

1st time ever eating at a WH. We've heard so many bad reviews, we were afraid to try it. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was good and our server, Taylor, was absolutely incredible. She made us feel very comfortable and did an outstanding job.

As for the WH at corner of Forest Hills Rd+Tarboro St in Wilson NC...the cooks and Food is great.Service ok; But overall... It's the worst Waffle House out of approximately 75 that I've ever been to in 20 states. When I go late weekends they refuse to seat patrons !Only take out allowed.Often not welcoming like other WH's and sometimes out right rude.Several are standing around busy talking + joking while 5 or 8 tables need cleaning
