A big area with tons of local shops and restaurants with a cool and unique vibe. They have many great events here every year including the iconic cheerwine festival. Parking could be better but what downtown has great parking?

Went here for the Cheerwine festival, it was a lovely event and very crowded, all the food lines were very long but met a lot of lovey people.

Too crowded when it eas admitted, they should've stretched the festival longer down if possible.
Enjoyed the Cheerwine festival, yes it was hot and crowded but everyone we encountered was as pleasant as they could be....

Just noting the Kress building. We have awesome history for such z small city. Too bad investors do not bring affordable living downtown, when we have the buildings already there. But, the residences must be affordable!
