Lovely cafe in downtown Salisbury. Went to get some stuff done, and it had a wonderful atmosphere, good service and plenty of places to sit for it’s size. Plenty of drink options, of which I ended up getting an iced chai with oat milk, and it was superb.Parking: Street parking located in front of the building, however being downtown it’s not hard to walk to if you park somewhere else.

Barista was nice but chatted to friend behind counter and didn't get order right. Iced mocha tasted like regular chocolate milk. Overall ok.

I go to Mean Mug almost every morning and good conversation. The barista is very friendly, the coffee is excellent, and they treat me like family when I walk in. The story behind Mean Mug is a true success story. I also love that they are expanding and have more locations in the area. You would be hard pressed to find a better person than Evelyn Medina (owner). HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mean Mug. Please do yourself the favor of trying them out!

I made this morning’s coffee with the new bag in my French press - that’s easily some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, Evelyn! Thank you!

I’m sorry but since when a Golden latte comes with coffee? A golden latte is a latte make with spices (like turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, pepper) and some kind of dairy/milk and maybe sweetener, mine had straight espresso inside, and probably just one spice, I can’t drink coffee folks, that’s why I ask for this kind of options.Besides, I 1st ask if they were any possibility of adding whipped cream to it and when they say yes I ask that I will please like it with it, no whipped cream on my drink whatsoever. The cashier is kind but unfortunately she has no experience as a barista at all and my request (for which I paid) was ignored. It would be great if they trained their staff better.PS - Response to the comment of the local: It sounds a little crazy on my part to have to specify something like that when you go to a cafe and as a client you have knowledge and certifications of bartender and barista and you hope that those who take care of you or the local have a sensible level of knowledge of what they serve, it would be awesome so then to have your menu separate as -coffee drinks- and -non-coffee/caffeinated drinks- as they do in many places now if you guys are going to invent/have your own way to make a Indian classic, or well have specifications about it (that contains caffeine), it's just a piece of advice.

I've been going to the Mean Mug location in Salisbury on N Main Street since I started working for the county a year ago. Ashley has been a fantastic barista!Ashley always greets her customers with a warm and genuine smile. She's attentive to what I order. The coffee is always hot and fresh.I get a small breakfast plate almost every day. Egg whites with fresh spinach and sausage patties. The dish comes out hot and seasoned like I want it.The town square is lucky to have Mean Mug and Ashley taking such good care of our community and the need for our morning coffee.
