Great little spot. All the local art is really cool and the food and coffee options were great. Unfortunately, they were completely out of non dairy alternatives for coffee/lattes but it was still a great experience.

I love this place and owner Haley makes the BEST cinnamon buns. Very little sugar in the actual bun, but plenty of cinnamon! Served warm with a side of glaze so you can have as much or as little sweet as you'd like. The coffee (I drink mine black) is very good, from local Pisgah Roasters. Haley makes other pastries, too, so I will definitely be back! Very laid back casual comfy atmosphere.

Stopped in for a hot tea on a cold day. The place was warm and inviting.Lots of exposed wood and comfy atmosphere.Haylie was smiling and helpful, even helped me get a plug-in transformer for my charging cable.Music was just the right volume and the ambiance could lure me to stay for hours. The baked goods looked tasty but I was not able to indulge in them this day; however, I observed other patrons enjoying them so much that they went back for seconds.Definatly worth a stop off Interstate 26 to refresh and relax, or if you are adventuring in the Saluda NC area.Support your Local Coffee Shop!Parking: Parking availability vary depending on season and time of day.

I recently moved to Saluda, and I'm really happy we have Wakey Monkey! One of the best lattes I've ever had. The carrot pecan muffins were delicious, too. It's a cozy spot and the service is good.

Cannot say enough good things about this location! Ben and all the staff were amazing - courteous, helpful, resourceful. This is a fabulous, local spot in Saluda that should not be missed when touring the town. Highly recommend!!!!

In contrast to the vast number of bland corporate coffee places the Wakey Monkey is a charming independent coffee shop nestled in downtown Saluda. Providing delicious coffee paired and a selection of fresh goodies the ambiance is absolutely perfect for this quaint little town. Paintings for sale by a local artist adorn the walls. The owner was warm and welcoming and clearly cares about providing stellar customer service. Next time in Saluda I will definitely make a return visit to Wakey Monkey.
