It's ok if you seafood. Kinda dnt like that they charge for a piece of extra fish what you would think a large fish plate would be. Two for small three for large right? No they charge not my kinda place but could be yours.

This place was an amazing find for my daughter and myself about 4 months ago and we live an hour away, but make it a point to get together and dine here at least 2-3xs per month. They have an awesome menu, great food, very reasonable and affordable prices and best of all, a friendly familiar hospitality. Tastes as good (or better), than ya momma, lol.

Pretty decent place to go for seafood. I have experienced in the past the long drive-thru line and wait, even after placing my order by phone several minutes before arriving. I do suggest management come up with a system to decrease wait times and their drive-thru setup. This will perhaps increase the overall satisfaction of the customers.

It was my first time eating at the restaurant. I called in my order when I got there only waited a few minutes. Had great service and it was hot and fresh. Got a lot of food for the money. I most definitely will be returning there for more.

Myself and my family visited park dean for a 4 day holiday, we went out for dinner at the park dean restaurant the “boat house”, we all ordered at the same time soon as the waitress took our order I felt like I was on the naughty step, it was horrendous customer service and took the piss delivering our food, was very spaced out. a blonde lady supposedly a manager was incredibly rude and arrogant! All the staff are useless, we asked for serveral items on the menu all of which “they didn’t have”, the chefs and kitchen don’t have a clue what they have and what they don’t have, would’ve been nice to be informed prior ordering! Don’t eat here waste of time and money and left very angry!!!!!

On April 2, 2021, I ordered my fish plate by calling ahead to avoid having to wait. The person who answered said it would be ready in 15 minutes. However, when I tried to go in to pick it up (I had my mask on) they told me I couldn't go in and would have to drive to the Drive thru window. There were 3 cars in front of me and I had to wait in line over a half hour while these 3 cars gave their orders at the drive-in window and waited for their food to be prepared. By the time I got home with my plate, my fish was cold, the hush puppies were cold and the french fries were cold. What was the point of my calling my order in??? I could have just ordered it at the drive thru since I had to wait anyway. Wake up call: Last time I will eat there but a little bit of advice for the staff at Boathouse: When a customer calls in an order have the courtesy to tell them they cannot come in to pick it up and that they will have to wait in line at the drive-thru while others are ordering theirs or you may lose their business as well.
