Today was our first experience at this local restaurant and it was fantastic. Old school food burgers fries etc etc and It was freshly cooked to order. The onion rings was best I ever had… The sweet tea was very good flavor not overly sweet. I definitely will return.

First time visit with a dine-in experience to a fairly new restaurant just outside of Sanford. We had a cheeseburger, hamburger, split a basket of fries and 1/2 n 1/2 Iced Tea. The service was great. Received tips from the staff on how folks rave about their burgers and the burgers were good. The only thing I suggested as an opportunity for improvement is to spread the pickles around. I had to disassemble my sandwich to spread the mound of pickles on one side around. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and plenty of Mayo; some places skimp on the Mayo. The bun was extremely fresh too! The place was quiet but had a homey feel to the environment. The sanitation rating was 97, and the dining area was clean. We walked away pleased with our lunch, would recommend it for the burger and we'll definitely frequent. Not sure if they updated their hours but now they are open 11-7 Mon-Fri because not much traffic at breakfast for the days they use to open earlier. Y'all know many places aren't open on Monday so a great move on their part to be open on Mondays!

First off, I am the #1 proponent of supporting local and will always spend my money with the Mom-n-Pops places when I have that choice. So here goes.........I had high hopes for this place and have tried it twice now. Luke warm reception both times. First time, sausage biscuit and nothing to write home about. Second time today, I ordered a country ham biscuit with WELL DONE ham and a sausage biscuit after being greeted by a VERY less than energetic cook that took my order. The pictures will speak for themselves. When places like this fail, it is usually their own fault. It wasn't like they were busy either as I'm pretty sure I was the first customer at 6:00am. (that's no excuse)This day and time you have to be on 110% of the time to set yourself apart and make people want to spend their hard earned money with you and not act like you are doing someone a favor. Attention to detail speaks volumes. The ham looked like it had barely been cooked and the sausage biscuit "exploded" after the first bite. COME ON! I give the setting 5 stars again because I love the home town dinner type vibe and they pull that off. I'm probably done with this place but I wish them well.

I have been hearing it was good. I got a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, it was fantastic. Then went back for lunch, I got a hamburger with some fancy lettuce and onions. I tried it with nothing on it so I could taste the burger, it was a great burger.I will definitely be going back.

I tried this new place after it was recommended by a coworker. I'm glad that he did! Overall, this is the classic southern diner just like you would see in Fried Green Tomatoes. No frills, good food, friendly staff snd low prices. Try it.

I'm a huge fan of their hot honey cheese bites and their grilled cheese - I asked for ham to be added and they were able to do so with out any issue, they were all so friendly and so accommodating! Any time I'm passing through on 421, I will definitely be stopping through!!
