It was okay. I heard and read so many good things about here. I will give it another try, but my cheeseburger was super dry, I added grilled onions and I think I had 2 slices if that. It may have been just a bad day.

Large portions, and tasty 'cue! I ordered a bbq sammich with a side of slaw. The sammich was better than expected with a nice spicy bite from their vinegar based sauce and tender pulled pork. The house-made slaw was also very good. Only downside is seating is limited to outdoor picnic tables.

BBQ was absolutely phenomenal. Fried okra was really good as well with large portions. And the banana pudding was some of the best I've had. Definitely recommend this place
Order up front. Eat at the picnic tables. No inside seating. Great old school BBQ. Got the chicken.... juicy tender, hhuuggee portions 1/2 a chicken and really large sides. I got okra and tater tots. Yum

Raised in Eastern NC to believe there is no such thing as bad barbecue, but this is close. Oversauced, I could taste only vinegar. Inedible. I ate there years ago and it was great! Maybe this was a bad batch, but I won’t risk it again.
