I don't think open anymore. Tried 3 times over 2 months and wasn't open any of the times. Now looks under construction. Very disappointed

This restaurant is one of Lee County's hidden gems. From biryanis to Naan. Options include vegetarian, seafood, lamb, goat, and chicken. There is something to appeal to even the pickiest eater in your party. Right now it's pick-up only, but it hasn't stopped us from dropping in weekly. Pro tip start out with mild spice and work your way up, hot will not be for everyone. Would love to have pics but we ate everything.

I have eaten here before and food is good. Came to meet a friend for lunch based on google hours. It’s Friday at 11:30 AM. There is no one here there’s a sign on the door that says take out only Wednesday Friday 11-7 and Saturday 12-7 only ugh!! Again 11:30 no one is here!

Service is real slow this is the reason I give them at three the food Has a taste like if it was frozen and not fresh this is my opinion my first time at this restaurant maybe that's why business is slow

This place was so good! I like really spicy food and most restaurants will not listen to you when you ask them to make things extra extra spicy because they don't believe you can handle it. They not only listened to me but they followed instructions and they made it extra spicy and it was amazing. I ordered three dishes and all three of them were incredible. I am glad they're finally open again and I will be returning again and again. Highly recommend this place and the chicken and tofu dishes were incredible. Thank you taste of India.

Was looking for new restaurants to try. So glad we tried this place. The reviews were great and I simply agree. Food tastes really great. Of note, they are only doing take out right now. Gotta be patient with the guy who takes orders over the phone sometimes though

I ordered the chicken Tikka Masala - spicy - and the garlic naan bread and it was delicious! I loved its spices and it had a great kick to it! Of course expect a longer wait time but it's so worth it. I recommend ordering ahead.

The food here is very good and fresh and the people are really nice and helpful.. I do notice people complaining about the service being slow. Please realize that a lot of businesses are having trouble getting people to work so if they are slow it's not because they can help it. I have nothing to do the people working here or anything I just understand how they feel, and how frustrating it can be to not be able do have any people to work for you. The previous business in this location had to close down due to not being able to find people to work and things are even harder now.

Always looking for good food and found it. They are a little slow in the service.

We were at the music store across the street when I noticed Taste of India. When I lived in NYC I'd always made a point to go to Madison Ave. in the 20's for Indian food, and my heart skipped a beat. Could decent Indian food be found in central NC? I was not disappointed! On the down side: They're only open three days a week! Then again, that keeps me from going overboard. The owner is very personable, and the gal who waited on us was very pleasant and prompt. Will go back. And back. And back...

Literally the best butter chicken and vindaloo ever. Their garlic naan is amazing too. However, their hours are not updated on Google and I've called on 3 separate occasions where they did not pick up.

First of all, you have to commend the work ethic of someone who, despite not having enough staff to have dine-in seating, takes the orders and cooks the food himself for those customers who want to order takeout. We ordered three meals (butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and korma chicken). The quality and quantity of the food was absolutely fantastic -- especially the butter chicken and tikka masala -- and we would definitely go back. Not having tried Indian food before, we were pleasantly surprised. One word of warning, though...we ordered the chicken korma with medium heat and it was WAY too hot for us. So, if you are a little sensitive to heat or don't like heat in your food, stick with the "mild" level. There was no heat there and the flavor was fantastic!

Delicious food. Be prepared to wait a little while. Food is prepared fresh. Will definitely go again. Tikka Massala was terrific. Rosemary naan- yummy.
