The food was very, very good. There were three of us in our party tonight on a Thursday. The place was busy. The bartender had to take care of us. Even though there was no one at the bar, she was busy serving people and doing drinks. The cesar salad was a delicious start with crispy bacon and shaved parmesan. I had the papardelle bolonese, it was excellent! My brother in law had the Manfedi Ragu. This dish was delicious. It had that warm home cooked meal taste that short ribs offer with pasta. My husband had the seafood risotto, I did not like it, but he loved it, so you see it's all according to your taste! We shared a bottle of the new montepulciano they have, and we liked that as well. I did not get to see the bill, but I don't think it could have been too crazy even with the bottle of wine. All in all, we will definitely be back. The food was awesome!

Our second time back this weekend because the food was soooo good. Steak was amazing and my wife had a pasta dish she said was the best ever!! Service was friendly and efficient. Great job y'all!

Among several great restaurants in the town of Shallotte, Lucca Italian Chophouse is one of the BEST inland restaurants. Appetizer seared scallops was so tasty, a very yummy house-made blue-cheese wedge salad with the main course of great steaks cooked exactly to the temperature desired with added lobster tails and sides is simply amazing. So much so, one will want to come back again. Also, high kudos to the wonderful and friendly attentive hostesses and waitstaff. It does come with a big price tag, but it is well worth it as the delicious portions are large.

We went in for dinner Saturday night. We were greeted by Lorena. She was very nice & had a great personality. She sat us very quickly & our food was amazing! Our waitress was Naomi, she was also great, we got our food quickly. We will definitely go back!

Had an excellent meal at Lucca! I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye and they were both cooked to perfection - seared and crisp on the outside and perfect medium pink on the inside - and well seasoned! Our server was personable, accommodating and delightful! Our go to spot for pizza and steak.
Our server Courtney, was excellent. Attentive. I believe I chose the wrong thing to eat. I love chicken parm and it was about the worst chicken parm I've ever had. Extra large portion but...Overdone. Dry. Flat. Tasteless. I would however come back again because the sea bass and the salmon looked wonderful and my friend said that it was really good! Sorry that I just picked the wrong thing to eat this time!?

It was finally nice to find a restaurant that has great marinara! Fried calamari was tender, meatballs and ricotta excellent. The Gnocchi Bolognese tasted good but the Gnocchi was soft and gooey-over cooked! Would like to see egg plant parmigiana on the menu as well as clam sauces.
