The service was immaculate and the lady was super sweet to everyone. The food was also wonderful and very affordable. This is definitely a hidden treasure of Brunswick county.

The egg rolls have nothing in them. The chicken chop suey tastes an awful lot like moo shu chicken and they charge you a 3% surcharge for using a debit card! We're not tourists, we're locals - I will never go there again!

I ordered thru door dash. Was hoping to imagine my favorite meal of many years ago: steamed dumplings and lemon chicken and ordered some lemonade.The dumplings came crushed down in a plastic container. Most were more dumpling than filling. Poor tasting and sauce just doable. The chicken was laid out in a regular dish in two layers with large pieces of steamed broccoli underneath. Chicken was fried in thin strips and mostly overcooked. Rice was on the side in typical box but lemon sauce was in a container by itself. Ok if the didn't want chicken soggy but the flavor of it wasn't worth putting in the food. Lemonade pretty nasty too. It was an expensive no go meal.

I was so disappointed the food was cold hardly anything was on the buffet nothing was hot hardly anything to choose from I use to go here as a child but this place has gone down hill bad I will never go back thank God we didn’t get sick they should be shut down it was awful.

My family of 7 (5 ginger boys) at the buffet. It isn’t easy feeding my growing boys and they loved everything on the buffet line. We were helped promptly and shown a table. Our drinks were refilled regularly.

Have been eating here for years but it’s not the same. Night before Thanksgiving, no one in the dining room. Smelled like mildew since it rained all day. Buffet options were limited but service was good and they made doughnuts for us when there was none. Sunday lunch is the best time since it’s fresh and more people are eating.

Not the best Chinese food I have had. Got there to pick up order, not one single person in dining room. No idea how old the food on the buffet was. Had to wait for order even though I was the only person there. A couple of folks came in to pick up while I was waiting, told me that Zengs "used to be" the best Chinese food around. Not so much. Atmosphere, cleanliness no better than the food. Wouldn't recommend it.

I like the food,really good. The service is prompt and food is always served hot. My only complaint is that Everytime I order my food a certain way,it comes the way they want it. Not the way I want it. I like extra egg in my fried rice. I pay 2 dollars extra,but never get extra egg. Other than that, it's good and hot.
Although the food tasted good it was a waste of money getting the shrimp and vegetables. We got 16 oz of Broccoli, 1 piece of corn cut up 4 slices of carrot not even a chunk, just a very thin slice and only 6 shrimp. I have added a picture.vit should be called vegetable and shrimp.
This place used to be good… not anymore. Went there for lunch and they only had bare minimum. No white rice, everything tasted awful. There’s no love in the food. $35 later.

Unimpressed! So I went there many years ago and disliked it. I went in with an open mind though hoping I would like it! But that didn't work! I got take out. I walked in the light's were out, it was a Sunday, weird! I got a small wonton soup (3 wontons floating in the container), small chicken fried rice (no veggies wait there were some onions no eggs no flavor to the chcken), and I got a small boneless spare ribs (very sweet, too much grizzle, sauce and fat) I was hoping for better but it was not meant to be, hey I tried.Parking: Lots of parking

This is a nice Chinese restaurant tucked away off of main street. Their food is flavorful. Price was right. The staff is friendly. Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in shallotte NC. I highly recommend!
