Today 8/11/23 myself and my boyfriend went for dinner it was absolutely horrible. Now the lady that waited on us was good she was doing her best running half the building but the food was absolutely horrible we had to call the manager out and show him the grease all in my bf food I mean it was sad. This place needs shut down because they clearly don't care how they send the food out.

Got there at 7. . Only one other table had anyone there. Completely empty. Was thinking maybe we could get in and eat quickly. There was 8 of us for my wifes birthday this is where she wanted to eat. Well we went in sat right down.... Took 30 minutes to get rolls and drinks. Finally ordered. Got food at 830. And noone even hardly ate. Food was terrible. We left about 9. We use to go there regularly but last 2 times its got worse.

I live close to Shelby, within 10 miles. I have taken my family to this restaurant numerous times over the past 15 years, if not longer. I have seen a consistent decrease in the quality of the food and the service. I generally do not comment or review restaurants. This review is based on eating at Fatz Saturday night. My wife ordered a pork chop which was so under cooked, you could say parts of it were almost raw. I ordered a club sandwiched which included two items I specifically asked not to be placed on the sandwich. I actually payed for the food and left a tip prior to seeing how the sandwich looked, since I got it after my family finished eating. After seeing the sandwich needed to be returned, I waited 10 to 15 minutes to get it corrected, without it being corrected. I then just left, with the view that I would never return.

I advise not a single person to go to this place waste of time and money Thank God I got pissed enough and walked out after they screwed my order up 3 times then the waitress was on something like she was about to go to sleep taking my order and to top it off the ceiling and walls have water damage or mold coming down the walls. The Health Inspection needs to shut the doors on this place . Wonder how many people have gotten food poisoning from here???? Something to think about!!

Believe the reviews before you waste your money ?. $63 for awful food and service ?. I'm sick by the fact I wasted my money and my family is still hungry. My pork chop taste like old meat that was dry and burnt charcoal flavor. Potato was clumpy and yellow as a sign they were old and tasteless. Salmon was tasteless and disappointing. Meatloaf was smyall portion of nasty.Sweet baked potato and sugar was the only thing edible

We went here for my father's birthday, and it was horrible. We waited 20 minutes for drinks, and it took a while for appetizers. Then once food came, party member's at our tables food got mixed up and put on the wrong plates. The waitress took one of the wrong steaks back, and then brought it to the table. This experience also took 2 hours. Would not recommend.

Fatz Cafe used to be so good. The restaurant was humid and had a "wet dog" smell to it. Our server was great, but I will not he going back.

In town, came here for breakfast, says they are open at 7am daily, wasn't open, looked on the website it says opens at 9am, came at 9. Corey the cook was the only person there, he was our hostess, cook AND server. He did an amazing job. The manager came in about a hour later, never met her. Thank you Corey you deserve 5 stars, the restaurant operating itself would be get 0.

We had a large party on graduation weekend. Despite that, we were seated within a few minutes. Our waitress was incredible. Personable, but not overly chatty or lingering. Busy, but without complaint. She gave each of us the attention we deserved, not just writing down our orders.The wait on our food wasn't bad at all, and it was all correct and absolutely delicious.

Don't recommend. Service was average and food was barely above fast food quality. Ordered a sirloin med rare and it showed up well done. Garlic potatoes were brown and overcooked. Rolls and salads were good.
I don’t even know where to begin. Walking in the doors you are welcomed by an overwhelming smell of mildew. The ceilings have black mold all over them and is overall generally dirty. Sticky fingerprints on every glass surface, trash on the floor, food squished into the booths etc. The women’s restroom has a toilet that has been out of order for at least a week and the smell made me completely loose my appetite. I’ve been in military portapottys that smelt better. Also, a majority of the staff appear to be under the influence of narcotics.

I wish I could give 5 because it used to be great. Tonight my shrimp came completely dried out. But they noticed and fixed it quickly. And my husbands broccoli and cheese casserole was cold. The cheese didn’t even melt on top. Kind of disappointed but everything else was ok.

The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because I had to. It took forever to get our food, and the food was not that good. I ordered a salad and it was literally the very last thing that came out. The slaw was horrible and the shrimp didn’t taste like shrimp. The bathrooms was nasty and smelled disgusting. Definitely wouldn’t go here again.

The waitress continual forgot our table although she walked by us numerous times. 25 minutes to get drinks. Bread and salad came an hour after we sat down and at the same time the entrees arrived. Entrees we’re not correct, wrong sides and just cold - just really bad expert

When you get greeted at the door with yo I don't think that's an appropriate way to greet your customers and they had a hard time accommodating a group of 11 when there was hardly anybody in the restaurant. They had a group of five and a large table that's meant for a party of 10. But our server was gracious and very helpful. And could not come up with a child's menu.
