Great small place with a very welcoming staff and home-town feel. Real home-cooked meals made on-site. Daily specials are wonderful and made daily. They are served until they run out. Very affordable and highly recommend you stop by to see Mr. T and staff.
I've been to several BBQ places in Shelby but had never been to the Flying Pig until today. I had the large BBQ plate it was awesome ! The hushpuppy were the best I've had in a long time. Highly recommend. My new BBQ go to in Shelby.
We came for lunch. Had a hot turkey and cheese, curly fries and banana puddin. My buddy had chicken fried steak and fried okra. We both had sweet tea. Everything was delicious and prices were good. Will visit again.
