Buffet quality chinese food just sold as takeout. Nothing much to write home about save for the price. Not too expensive for a solid amount of food.

Worst food I ever threw away. Bourbon chicken and fried rice is what I always get at every Chinese place. I took a couple bites of that here and got up and threw it in the trash. I should've known better cause the people working there wasn't Chinese. I don't know who cooks the food but I didn't see any Chinese people there.

I was trying to let this go but I just can’t. Food good but they are nasty. Saturday a lady wipes her nose with her bare hands and tried to continue to fix my plate. 2 weeks prior to that incident another lady was texting on her phone and playing with her hair and when I walked up to order, she put her phone up, grabbed the plate and proceeded to fix my plate. No hand wash no gloves no nothing. If they are ok with doing this in front of your face, imagine what they are doing in the back……!!!!

I don't know what everyone else had , but My experience was different. The noodles were old and tasted horrible, the meat tasted old too, looked great but had bad taste. They didn't have white rice. So the other option was fried rice , again it tasted old and the rice was mushy. Just very disappointed. I'm on a budget andits rare for my kids and I to eat out. We will definitely not be back to thislocation in the mall.

Jade Express is tasty Chinese food up there with other good mall Chinese food options at other bigger Malls. This is a compliment that this is available at Shelby for all the folks to enjoy. I loved the Reasonably priced 2 entrees and 1 side meal and I got 2 chicken entrees and fried potatoes for the side and the portions were generous. Highly recommend this eatery!

I absolutely live for their GENERAL TSO'S CHICKEN!! Would love it if they'd serve the broccoli from the spicy beef & broccoli, SEPARATELY ? it's sooo good & really compliments the chicken! I'd eat here EVERYday if I could if my gut allowed me ???

Update for 2023: It still slaps. Go here!This place is exactly what you expect for mall Asian food and that's absolutely fabulous. The staff was quite friendly, the food quality was great, and the prices are on par for the other similar restaurants in Shelby. I hope this place sticks around for a long while, it's awesome.

One of the best Chinese restaurants inside of a mall. Jade Express is absolutely amazing and the employees are always super nice! The Orange Chicken is so so good. As well as the Teriyaki Chicken also the Bourbon Chicken. The plates are very inexpensive and they give you a great portion. This place is definitely recommended if your looking for a great Chinese place. Super great in all aspects!
This place is amazing! The ladies who served me were very polite and helpful! They give you a choice of plain cream cheese wontons or crab and onion! I havent found that anywhere else! Their food was AMAZING as well! It was all made perfectly! The prices are great too! This is definitely the place to go!!

Stopped to get gas and lunch on the way home. Figured the mall cafeteria would have something for everyone. My husband and I each got the chicken hibachi. One with noodles and 1 with rice. Cooked fresh and was a lot of food. I thought mine had good flavor. My husband thought his could use a little more. Each plate came with two tubs of yum yum white sauce. Reasonable price. Was not obvious how much drinks were and no option as add on to meal. Ate at the mall court. Would definitely eat here on another stop here

As soon as you walk into the mall, the smell of Chick-fil-a and Jade Express start fighting one another to see which one can make its way to your nostrils first. My entire family, including myself, are BIG supporters of this business. We have tried everything their menu has to offer with the exception of the boba tea drinks they have on display. (It’s a texture thing.) However! If you’re at the mall or in the area, I highly recommend dinning here. The shrimp sauce is more affordable than other establishments but if you dine inside, it can be found in a red squirt bottle for free. “It’s like a reward.”
