We loved our visit to Newgrass. We had enjoyed their smoothie sour beers in Raleigh for a while but it was great to be here in person. Loved the Nashville Chicken sandwich, the smash burger and the libations as well as the quaint town of Shelby.

I booked this place for a night before welcome event for my son's wedding in October. Scout helped me plan out the entire evening. She did an amazing job and everything went off without a hitch. Scout was organized and remembered all my details. I highly recommend this place. My guests repeatedly told me what a nice time they had and the food and drink were wonderful. The new vibe is palpable! I avoided Newgrass for the past few years. It was dirty and unappealing with limited food options and no selections of my beer flavor profiles- wheat, heffe, citrus. And, now fans can walk in to purchase 4 pack from the now clean and functional coolers. Kudos to management for the new direction!

Nice space downtown near a lot of other businesses, restaurants, etc. Staff was very nice and helpful in selecting beers. We needed a little something to munch on so we got their fries and they were on point. Plenty of seating but they weren't super busy when we were there. The other food options all looked pretty good and we'll try more of them next time we are in town.If you're in Shelby, NC... stop in and check this place out.

Would of gone lower if I could of! New menu isn't good while more costly and waited over 2 hours for our food order. Fired all of our favorite people and just dropped the ball. Saddens me as my family went here almost every weekend for yrs!
