For my first visit I ordered the Classic Smoked Pulled Pork plate with house bbq beans, white slaw, and a cornbread biscuit.Review: the service was fast and friendly. High marks here.The pulled pork wasn’t dry and the bbq sauce was tasty.The homemade bbq beans were a standout and exceeded expectations.For the cornbread biscuit I feel it was a different take on cornbread but didn’t really hit like I was hoping.Finally, for the white slaw it was chopped too finely for my preference and the only area I’d say that detracted from the meal.Overall: 7.2/10A must stop if you’re close by.
This place is absolutely fantastic, me and my wife both eat for less than 20 dollars and the food is wonderful and the portions are very fair. This place is lovely owned and family ran, their a wonderful group of people.....Parking: Limited parking but you can park in the church parking lot across the street..Kid-friendliness: They have a Kids Menu

Thelma Lou's is a "must go" barbecue place! Warm and friendly staff. Delicious pork barbecue served with vinegar-based sauce and your choice of "red" or "white" slaw on a toasted brioche bun ? Other members of our dining party got hand-formed, grilled well done burgers with choice of toppings and cheese. Chef accommodated our request for "extra crispy" hand cut fries. So delicious! Family-friendly atmosphere. Definitely will return to try more "good eats"!

Great food, great service and great prices!!! We will definitely go back. BBQ was moist and wonderfully favorited. Fried Cheese curds are great.
