Do not expect to be greeted with a smile. You guys need to learn some southern hospitality. Very rude and act like it is a hassle to help. I've been twice thinking they were just having a bad day on my 1st visit. Nope, apparently it's how they conduct business.

Burney's bakery was a religious experience for my parents and I.My father ate his entire big scoop of icecream. My mother's apple cinnamon scone wasn't dry at all, and was delicious and fluffy. I got an individual slice of cake from the fridge and the buttercream was immaculate!We sat down and enjoyed our treats in a small adjacent seating area. As we left, the owner himself, Mr. Burney, gave us a hot glazed croissant fresh out the oven, free of charge. It was fluffy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of sweetness.Service was very friendly and the prices are excellent. Safe to say this Bakery has won over our hearts, and we'll be coming back during our next beach trip.
