One of the best places around! Prices are great and the atmosphere is even better. The owners are also wonderful. Definitely give this place a shot whenever you’re out and about in Spruce Pine!
Yummy breakfast! It’s been hard finding breakfast in the area that’s not fast food or overpriced. CJs is the place. Homemade breakfast like grandma makes. Biscuits and gravy were yummy, eggs cooked perfectly and great liver mush. Friendly staff and not too expensive either.

We have been here a couple times. Once last year on our visit for a women's retreat - had the hog rolls, and omg...that alone - and all the sauces...so good, be sure to ask to try them. And then I brought my husband back and again - the hog rolls are the winner...with the something stinger sauce? anyway - I agree with whomever said the young gal cared more about her phone, that was true the first time we were there, but seemed to me that they got the message b/c the last time we were in - which was March, she was reading a book. This is a family owned place and I am impressed at their drive for customer service. This is a hard business and a super hard time to be in the restaurant biz. More people should give this a try!
