“My daughter never eats her kids meals. Maybe a chicken nugget or two…. Maybe a bite of grilled cheese. She’s three, so you know how it goes. She ate the heck out of her ham and cheese sandwich from here. The bread was SO soft and the ham and cheese were really high quality. My husband and I had a very delightful meal, and the staff was so friendly. We had a great experience and will be going out of the way to return here for another great meal. Back again for ice cream after a trip to the playground nearby!“

“I found this place next to the road and I stopped by curiosity. I found the best pumpkin pie bread with pecans . I want the recipe because is something out of this world. So chewy and thick and I can taste all the ingredients: the pumpkin, brown sugar, pecans etc oh Lord. Whoever made this deserves an award.“

“Stopped here when on a drive of the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Place was very busy. Tried a number of menu items. All were good. Reuben sandwich was excellent! Keep in mind their hours are limited serving lunch only. They close for the season in November until Spring. General store is next to cafe offering cheese, beer & wine soft drinks., snacks and souvenirs.“

I regret not getting a piece of the red velvet cheesecake, it looked to die for. Apparently they don't have it often, so take advantage if you are so fortunate! (visited a week ago)“
