If you’re like me and get jealous of those pizzas they serve in the big city’s like Chicago or NY and think you can only get great Italian American food in one of those places…you are in luck…the food here is as good if not better than any pizzeria in a big city…I’ll go one step further, if you only just had a bowl of their gravy and nothing else you will swear you died and went to heaven…it’s that good and I don’t hardly ever leave reviews…sometimes food can remind me that life is beautiful…this is one of those places…
Picked up two of their specialty pizzas & was pretty disappointed, especially considering the price. Parmesan chicken pizza was like frozen fried chicken patties were chopped up on a cheese pizza. No other seasonings. The Margherita pizza barely had any basil. Both were very bland.

I like the food pretty good we used to eat here once a week but we had a pretty bad experience the other day and nobody there can make a decision the manager was not there and the kids their kept telling me they couldn't do anything without the manager so my question was why not call the manager? ?

Went to Amalfi on Sunday with my husband and son. We ordered 2 appetizer and 3 entrees. The food was absolutely horrible so I paid my bill and gave a $5 tip I know that's cheap but my server only delivered the food and the food was terribly overpriced. I.e. the Alfredo was runny and had no seasoning. The chicken Parm is still in my fridge uneaten and my son didn't finish his Alfredo (his favorite dish). I say all that to say this someone changed my $5 tip to $15.40 to for food and service we were not happy with!

Normally have no problems at this place have ordered there many times. One time somebody taking an order over the phone was extremely rude to me while I was Giving her my order and it was not fast enough for her so she just hung up on me whoever it was.Today around 230 I ordered a ham calzone the way I normally get it there as soon as I walked in the door to pick it up all I smelled was burnt pizza crust And I thought to myself immediately oh my gosh, I hope that’s not mine, but did not think they would try to pass This off on me and make me pay money for it! Unacceptable. I called up right around 430 asked for a manager put on hold for five minutes and all of a sudden, no man manager is available. Which I do not believe but hard to believe this establishment would not have a manager on duty, especially during dinner the busiest time of night. Just felt as if they did not want to deal with me right then at that time I had a great attitude too. So we will do things this way. I get home go to heat up my calzone and this is what I see on the bottom. Absolutely unacceptable will not be going back. They’re not the only ones in Statesville or surrounding area that makes calzones.
This was a very nice experience, and one I look forward to doing again!

They've impressed me a couple of times. I didn't think I would like this place. It turned out to be not bad at all. Could use a bigger parking lot tho, I guess you could park at Food Lion. The service wasn't bad, either. All in all the three times I've been, I get it.
