Food was okay but nothing out of the ordinary. Reuben sandwich was awful—one side of sandwich was soggy due to coleslaw ( sauerkraut goes on a Reuben not coleslaw ). One family waited over an hour to get their food— they were seated when we entered the restaurant and we had eaten by the time they were served. They had ordered fish so no excuse for delay. Don

I went to check this place out and I was so excited. Never again. First we were seated and it took 15 minutes to get our drink orders in (the restaurant wasn't even 1/3 full and there were at least 3 waitresses on duty). Then we placed our food order. Fair warning, they don't allow substitutions at least not for their breakfast menu. I ordered my eggs scrambled soft (specifically said scrambled soft twice), and they brought them out to me massively overcooked. Okay, fine. Then I found a hair in them. My husband didn't receive the waffle he ordered. We informed the waitress and she went to get the manager. The manager was informed of what happened and offered to make me a new plate of eggs, home fries and toast. I said no multiple times, trying to explain to her that I would rather just have the plate removed from our ticket so I would only be paying for the side of livermush that I did eat. She insisted on remaking the plate. Fortunately I talked her out of wasting potatoes on the home fries (they are actually the worst home fries I have ever had), and told them for a THIRD time that I wanted the eggs scrambled soft. They STILL brought them out scrambled hard, and I just had to get a box and take them home to someone else. We still had to pay full price. It has been a long time since I went somewhere that was so bad I almost cried, but today was it. I am so disappointed, I was so excited for a good country breakfast in town again. My husband got his waffle eventually though so I guess there's that

The food is delicious and soooo reasonably priced. unfortunately, they are understaffed it seems or the staff they do have is subpar... Because it takes forever to get an order in, refills ect. That's the only reason I give three stars. The staff they do have is wonderful mostly, a few bad eggs... But that's expected anywhere you go nowadays. The salt and pepper popcorn shrimp small plate could feed two obese adults without question.. trust me, I know cause I'm a chunk ? it's seriously piled up and you get so much bang for your buck. Can't imagine what the large portion looks like. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his salt and pepper catfish plate as well. They need a kids menu.

This was our first visit which was pleasant. Our meals which were plentiful and very reasonably priced were selected from quite a varied menu. My fish and sides were good, not salty (which was great). My husband said his meatloaf, 2 sides & salad were tasty. The servers and hostess were quite pleasant. It was nice to see many patrons there too. We will go again.

The grits were cooked like oatmeal with milk. The griddle or grill was too hot so the sausage and potatoes were burned. The croissant French toast was not eggs and so hard that a fork couldn't cut through.
Had to wait longer then the said to be seated and once we sat down a third of the tables were kept empty because they only three servers . Finally ordered our food and 45 minutes later one plate showed up cold and the other plate was never to be seen and no reason to where it was . Manager came out with some lame excuse . We left and will never be back and will spread the word on our experience .

First time here. The portions were great. My mom said the flounder was good. I had the steak tips, baked potato and side salad. The food was well seasoned. The ranch was homemade and really good. Will definitely be back.
