Fast, good food and friendly. Even if I go someplace else, this is my spot for some New York style Chinese food in Statesville

Ordered Door Dash, being I work in a City I'm not familiar with, and the Central Tsos did not taste like any any that I have ever tasted before. There was no spice and it was sweet. The Egg Drop soup was good but they sent NO Cantonese noodles to go in it as well as no napkins or cutlery.

Haven't been here in many years so figured we'd give it a try again since someone at work mentioned it and it sounded good. 4 of us got our food and everything was correct as ordered and the portions were pretty good for all but the walnut shrimp and it was small in my opinion. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about if you know what I mean. The rice had very little flavor and the wonton in the wonton soup was mushy and slimy unlike normal restaurants. My orange chicken had pretty good flavor, but had way too much batter on it making it mushy as well and not very appetizing. The hot and sour soup was good, but the crunchy noodles were almost stale and had a funny taste to them. My wife liked the lo mein and I tasted it and agreed it was pretty good, but we've definitely had better. Another person had hibachi chicken and one had shrimp and both were just decent as well with not a lot of flavor. Overall I ate my food, but my stomach has been torn up ever since eating it and I'm not sure if it was mushy wonton or what, but this will be the last time eating here for a long time again if ever. Peking downtown Statesville is better if that tells you anything!...

Best Chinese food in Statesville in my opinion! I always get the sesame chicken with rice, crab ragoons, egg rolls, and hibachi chicken with rice. We tried honey chicken last night for the first time, and it didn’t disappoint! Their food is great, prices affordable, and a pick-up order only takes 15-20mins.

Someone recommended Grow Green to me. The food was really good. It was the best Chinese style food I have had in a long time. The woman who took my order was nice. I didn't have to wait a long time to get my order. The only thing is they have only one table to sit down at. I believe they are only a take out only business. However, I would recommend getting food there for sure. You just need to expect to actually eat it somewhere else.
