The only thing I had trouble with was finding the right number to call, oh and the tarter is not the same anymore. It has too much vinegar in it. Other than that, I was satisfied. Welcome back!!

I do not typically write negative reviews on Facebook or Google but after the way I was treated by Captain's Galley tonight I feel compelled to do so.Watch your take out orders folks! Paid over $60 to get home without part of my order. Management would NOT do anything to help but tell me to drive all the way back to get food THEY were paid (and tipped) to fix and triple check. Whenever I called initially when I arrived home without all of the food I paid for, management was too busy to do anything about it. I was told to call back this evening when the restaurant had slowed down. I did so only to be told they would do NOTHING about the missing food unless I drive back to get what they left off my order. Management told me that it was MY FAULT because I didn't check my order before I left! Gave the comment that I check my order at McDonald's before leaving why would I not do it in this instance. I expected better out of this establishment. There were only two other people waiting at the time I picked up, visually I thought the bag was full enough to hold everything I ordered. I paid over $60 and tipped the take out person!! Apparently for NOTHING!For "new" management to open this place back up and make BIG promises of great food and service -- that is not what I encountered.You will never get my business again.

After their reopening, I waited a few weeks for the initial craze to die down. I ordered online like their website suggested. Scheduled a pickup for Friday afternoon at 3:30 to avoid the rush. it wasn't ready at 3:35. While I waited I heard a young woman tell a customer on the phone they had no potatoes. I asked another woman to please check on my order as I had ordered a baked potato. Yet another young lady who seemed to be in charge of the pickup area overheard and said we just gave you fries. To me that said my order had been prepared. At 3:40 she comes back and says I don't know how you ordered it this way because we never have Canadian flounder on special. Since she was snippy and acting like I'd done something wrong, I replied because that's how it was listed on your online menu. That's how I ordered it that way. She said well that's not right. Now they had the food I ordered. They just weren't willing to let me have it for the price I had already paid for it. So I say can I just get my money back? Yep. No effort to save a customer or honor their advertised price. So much for hometown service. One and done with this place.

Food was great, service and checkout was terrible. They wrote down our reservation for the wrong day. We came in as a large group and they made us pay for our food in the order of how it was listed on the ticket, causing multiple swipes for families with kids sitting apart, and causing everyone to wait for entire checkout to make sure all of their items were paid for. I’m not sure if this is just poor training on the POS system or if that is actually how the system works, if that’s how it works that is a terrible system. We were told the heat didn’t work. It felt like it was 55 degrees the entire time. First half of our table was done with food by the time the last people in our party got theirs. Staff didn’t seem to recognize this was even happening or a problem.

They are still figuring things out on their reopening. My food was great but my baked potato was crap, looked as if it was a left over left over, others in our party of about 15 weren’t so pleased. One very annoying problem is if you have eight people at your table they will only make one ticket and require all to check out at the same time. We were not all ready to leave at the same time but had to get up and go to the register to check out and then go back to our seat to finish. A relative told us they had already been there and this happened to them as well. I will give them another opportunity to fix this or we will be done going there. We had small children so this is really an inconvenience. Our bill was well over $100 for our table alone.

They have reopened this year 2024, called to order for pick up, was put on hold for 20 minutes while I could hear her take many other orders. The phone then hung up. Called back and put on hold again, was told " It's not an option", was on hold another 15 minutes while hearing orders being taken. I will not call back!

Went there after I heard they reopened: prices went up across the board, waited for 25 minutes for my food, chicken was over cooked, the fries were under done, tea tasted like water, went to checkout and got over charged, asked for salt and pepper and got regular, paid $40 for 2 people. They painted over all the murals in the dining area.

All I can say is Yummy! Such good food there, and always have had friendly servers and hostesses. You might have to wait a bit, but it's worth the wait.

Health score 90. Bathroom floor really weirdly sticky and grimy. We left without eating. Never did that before. Enough said i think.

Id leave a no star review if i could~Disrespectful staff and management wouldnt suggest anyone ordering from there. Mess orders up and hangs up before even done order. Manager is disrespectful and hung up while trying to explain what happened. I would recommend going the extra mile to the sandy ridge location..
