7 Best Pizza Restaurants near Stony Point

“I tried Jay's Pizza from their 1st location years back after my wife had an issue with the staff and gave them a 3 star rating on yelp.Recently tried their new location because they deliver to my house. The first time we did pick up on their opening weekend and wasn't the best but understandable. Ordered last weekend for delivery. The website didn't allow for future deliveries so it arrived two hours before I wanted it but not their fault.The pizza I did get was a big improvement over when I tried it from their first location years back and opening night. It was really good. It won't compare to real ny pizza but this is quickly becoming one of my favorite pizza spots in NC. If the pizza stays consistent and was as good as last weekend, with the prompt delivery I'll be gaining weight fast. I usually make my own pizza at home which is better with my pizza oven but I'll be ordering pizza at least once a month from Jay's. Easily my go to and in my top 5 pizza places in NC“

“My wife orders the Steak Sandwich, w/o Tomato, and my go-to is a simple, 10-inch Pizza, either Plain Cheese, or with 1 topping, such as Onions. I like a crust that's thin, but not hard, a good, light sauce that isn't overly sweet or salty and doesn't dominate, and for my topping, when I choose to get one, to also not completely take over. For me, the Cheese has to be outstanding and be the star. I consistently get all of that at Giovanni's. If you're in the Taylorsville area and feel similarly about Pizza, this is your place. The food's also hot, fresh, and served by friendly people, in a timely manner.Vegetarian options: Cheese Pizza, a variety of Veggie Toppings, customizable Pizza SubParking: The lot can be tight and full, especially at peak times, but there is plenty of parking.“

“This was my first time trying this place and it did NOT disappoint! We ordered the cheese bread, pepperoni Stromboli, and the M&M dessert pie. We started with the cheese bread and it was incredible! Super cheesy and perfectly seasoned! The pepperoni Stromboli was 100% the star of the show! It was huge (worth the price) and it was FILLED with tons of cheese and pepperoni! We tried it with their house made ranch and they get bonus points for having great ranch ? the Stromboli was amazing, the slight spiciness of the pepperoni and the cheesiness was a perfect balance. And finally we finished off with the M&M pie, it was good! It was a chocolate chip dessert pizza with M&Ms baked into it! It came with an extra cup of icing for anyone with an extra sweet tooth! Overall this place, the people, and the food are a 10/10! The only thing to be aware of is on the website some of the prices and pictures are not updated to the current prices and presentation of products! But no points deducted on my end because Elise did inform me they’re in the process of changing some things on the website around. I will definitely be back here very soon to try some more of their menu items!“

“If you’re like me and get jealous of those pizzas they serve in the big city’s like Chicago or NY and think you can only get great Italian American food in one of those places…you are in luck…the food here is as good if not better than any pizzeria in a big city…I’ll go one step further, if you only just had a bowl of their gravy and nothing else you will swear you died and went to heaven…it’s that good and I don’t hardly ever leave reviews…sometimes food can remind me that life is beautiful…this is one of those places…“

“The tall guy with red hair and the long beard is one of the nicest people I ever met, he is so kind and I can’t remember his name . But today they were super busy and even under all the stress , he was still so genuine and kind and considerate. He deserves a raise, he remembers me in the drive thru and always asks how I am . Idk if he is a manager or what but he should be , he is wonderful definition of a ray of sunshine put into a human being!!! Also this is my fav lil ceasars they always have the perfect cheese/sauce ratio and it’s always so buttery and yummy. My kids love it ? that is all“

“I got 2 pizzas delivered last night that looked like they had been thrown in the floor of the delivery guys truck. they were all messed up in the boxes. However, a call to reggie and bam, 2 fresh pies were on the way and got here fast!!! I've always like pizza hut in taylorsville, reggie is a top notch manager. thanks for all you do!!“

“I have been going here for a few years. Dennis (owner) is Great ! I recognize this gas station and store as my one stop shop ! I let Dennis know what things I by on a regular bases. And within no time he stocked his store to my preference. I can get drinks, cigs , gas, milk whatever at one place. Now that's customer service right there.
