Really great food. The service is great and they ask you if you need anything and it's great. But the only reason I can't give a 5 star review was because my last time there it took along time to get my food and usually it's fast. If you can fix that I'll make a 5 star review thanks. I also recommend the mole ranchero

I feel compelled to write something, seeing how many recent poor reviews there were. We went for the dips for the chips, and that did not disappoint! The queso and the guac were both great. Service was on point as well. My burrito was huge, the burrito Rico. I asked for a little chorizo to it thinking it was going to be a small amount but it was loaded. Only went to 4 stars because my burrito wasn't well distributed it. One part was all chorizo, one part beans, and etc. if it was a more rounded bite I would have went to 5 stars. Overall, we'll definitely be back

We walked in and got seated as usual, but then waited 10 minutes for a waiter so we finnaly went tot he bar and asked for a waiter and then we got one. Also our chicken was cold very unprofessional!!! This happened 02/07/24

Went with the wife and kids. Started off well with the chips and salsa, accompanied by homemade guacamole which was fresh and tasty.Had the 4 enchiladas: bean was great, chicken and beef were dry, and the cheese (usually my fave) was actually the worst. The cheese inside was far from authentic, more like a runny fake queso style cheese. Won’t get it again. On the flip side, the rice and beans on the side were superb and authentic. Kids had wings which were dry as well. Wife ordered the enchilada and chimichanga combo, which came out as an enchilada and tostada combo. Saving grace was that the tostada was actually good!Our server was amazing. Friendly and quick to bring food, drinks and refills.Will be back because the service was great and some of the food was above par. Will try others on menu and hoping for a better main course experience.

The Rio Dip is delicious! The chips aren't authentic, so minus 1 star for that. Their regular salsa has all the spice of a can of tomato sauce, but if you ask for a spicier salsa, they'll bring you a delicious spicy salsa with great flavor. Usually, Mexican restaurants will have at least 2 other salsas to offer in addition to their standard offering with chips. Rio Grande has only 1, so minus another star. I asked for one chicken tostada and they brought me two (which I probably paid for), so watch the bartender so that he doesn't "sell up" on you. The service by the bartender was lukewarm...I wasn't inspired to visit again soon. If I go back, it'll probably be just for the Rio Dip which I'll enjoy at home with some authentic chips from another restaurant.

The food here is pretty good but I can’t stand false advertising. So I looked on their website and there was one price for the food. Then I went to pick up and it was another price that was $10 more . So I picked up a menu in the restaurant and all the prices were less than I was charged on my receipt. I said something to a manager who stated that he had a sign that shows he had to go up on prices. This sign has been up since covid started. It’s been 3 years. Time to update things on your menu. I also told him I looked online and he claimed that isn’t their menu, yet he showed me the disclaimer on that menu online that supposedly isn’t theirs saying that the prices are subject to change. Also he said “I can’t give food away for free”. Well $48 for what should have been $38 per YOUR menu is hardly free. I just like to support good honestly people and this is not honest. I told him I would let others know about this dishonesty and he shrugged his shoulders as if to say ‘oh well’ or ‘go ahead’.

Great food but... service is disappointing. The only one that seemed interested in attending us and the rest of the customers is the one guy at the bar. Needs improvement in their staff but great food like I stated.
