Petronies is ok when pepes is closed...but pepes is the best pizza hands down in Brunswick county and I've had them all fro ny to Florida ..and other menu items represent that flavor and quality...I would really hate to see this hidden gem not make it here in our little beach town .,.prices are comparable to less desirable choices in the area but I'd rather pay the extra buck and get that overall quality....I just can't say enough...try it all,you won't be dissatisfied .Vegetarian...read full review
My first review was taken down. It was a 4. They do seem to look at the reviews and take to heart some criticism. I now wish them to know it is a fantastic place for any pizza. The ingredients are spread out to the edges farther and the crust is cooked more. The farmers market pizza is fantastic as the other 5 or 6 we have tried. Excellent pizza almost as good as Ct's Pepe's which is where I learned about great pizza. 2 areas of improvement needed. 1) spread sauce and toppings farther out on the crust. 2) Cook the crust longer to get it brown or more cooked instead of soft. Needs crunch.
