Love this place! Whenever I’m craving a hotdog this place is my go to! Their fry’s are steak fry’s so they are excellent! They serve breakfast as well. I call in my order and pick it up at the window and the staff is always friendly!

Everytime I go I enjoy quick and friendly service and delicious food. An absolute gem. One of the best burgers you could get in these parts. Fresh and hot too! They've got nice outdoor covered seating and parking is super close. They have breakfast and catering too! Never a bad experience!

Hubs and I were kid-free and out for breakfast, but the lines were crazy long at our fav local places..so we hopped in the car and took a ride to Sylva. This just happened to be the first place that wasn't fast food that had great reviews, so that's where we went!!Hubby had a BBQ sammich with slaw & onion rings, I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was DELISH!!! You wouldn't think so with how the outside looks, but we REALLY enjoyed it. You also know it's great food when all of the local cops stop to eat..which they did while we were eating. Prices were decent, but they only have outdoor seating to eat there. Picnic tables under a nice covered area, which was fine with us since the weather was beautiful that day!Service was super friendly as well!!Support small businesses whenever we can..HIGHLY recommend Big Al's if you want a quick, yummy lunch. We'll definitely be back!!

I hate to do this because the small home town burger and hot dog joints are a thing of the past. BUT... My hot dogs in my 2 all the way looked more like slim Jim's than hot dogs. They were like eating leather.. Our french fries were nuclear hot in the center similar to what happens when they are microwaved. Buy the cheapest hot dogs you can buy and boil them!! Whatever you are doing isn't working! I've had better hot dogs off a gas station roller..... Miss this place but I can't continue to waste $$ thinking it will change!!!

Roadside pull up burger and chicken joint. They have a couple of picnic tables, but the easiest ways just simply eating your car. Burgers are excellent. A little on the spendy price side of things, but everything's expensive now. I feel like I'm getting old - "Back in my day, we could get two Wendy's double stacks, fries, and a Coke for $4.25..."

It's the best burger and fries you'll find in town, no contest. They aren't overly thick or too thin, just the right ratio of juicy beef, American cheese, and sesame seed bun. The kind of white wrapper, paper bag burger-stand burger that doesn't need a big price tag and unique ingredients to stand out. Will take you right back to the bygone days of dependable drive-ins and family run kitchens. It's honestly exactly what you're looking for at lunch when you're thinking of a cheeseburger.

Small pit stop at Big Al’s for lunch on a road trip. Good food, large portion, reasonable prices. The lady who helped us was super friendly and makes you feel like family with her warm demeanor. We ordered from the walk up window and ate at the picnic tables.
