My wife is very picky about food trucks and she said it was so clean you could probably eat off the floor! Quite an endorsement, right? The owner is very nice, service with a smile, I've truly never seen him be anything less than kind. The food is absolutely fantastic and you certainly get plenty of it for the price. “All the food is great. But I take the hour drive each way at least 2 times a week just for the jalapeño chicken salad with jalapeño ranch. A 2 hour drive for something should tell you how good it is. This is the best salad I have ever had. I have never been as full and satisfied with a salad as I am with this one.“

“Ok stumbled upon this place because I wanted an authentic hot dog and Omg!! So I ordered the beef hot dog the slaw way and let me tell you...I'm from Lexington where growing up Kearney's is the staple of what a hot dog should be, but The Dog House yeah definitely a place to experience. Amazing atmosphere and you can't beat the hotdogs!!!“

“I love it when I have a story behind a restaurant. I was on my way back to Thomasville from Winston and kept thinking. I wish there was something else in this area as far as a restaurant. I was really in a burger mood. I know about Cagney's which is great .. I worked hard this morning and really didn't want to wait until I was all the way back to Thomasville to eat.So when I was in the direct epicenter of where, I wanted to find a place. I saw a strip mall kind of back and up to the left. I thought the odds are small of something being in this place. But I've never been up here, so I'm gonna look.Sure enough there was a Thunder Road bar and grill. I had my apprehensions since I am a non drinker. But I guess the bar part is just open on. The bar part is just open evenings? So I wondered in this sharp but slight Is little sandwich shop. I was impressed the minute that I walked in the door without cleaning it was. The waitress was very prompt, friendly. Courteous and glad to answer my questions. And in a reasonable amount of time, I was served a true chargrilled burger on a brioche bun. Really nice. And they were happy to give me a salad instead of french fries. And I was happy to find out that it was true homemade buttermilk ranch dressing.This was a really nice experience and a really good fast meal. Again, this is another one of those. I would love it if there was a 4.5.... I will be back. I really loved the taste of the burger. OH! My meal - salad and drink was less than ten dollars!!!!Kid-friendliness: Children were in the restaurant and they were treated nicely.“

“Besides the fact that Oscars has served the best burgers and hotdogs in High Point for sixty years, their menu is full of other options of which to choose, breakfast and lunch! A small “mom and pop” cafe that is definitely worth a visit... It’s a family of employees and the people whom eat there on a daily basis! Known by name, by orders...some order the same thing every day and order is placed before they get in the door! It’s been several years since I worked there for 15 years but, can’t imagine it to be different! Thank you Debbie for carrying on your parents legacy! Wish you well! ❤️“

“I stop by here every time I’m working around the area. The multiple times I’ve eaten here, we haven’t been disappointed. The prices are just a tad high, but it’s to be expected. It’s like that in most food halls! It don’t bother us! My kid loves their burgers and fries! The Big Texas is our go to!The hall itself can get packed! Parking might be a little tough! The spots are already narrow, so I can just imagine the dings on doors!Great atmosphere and plenty of seating! Very kid friendly as well!“
