“Great local seafood tex/mex walk up food stand essentially.Food is great, haven't had a bad thing on the menu and I've tried it all. The menu is pretty small but that keeps the service time with quick turn around. Highly recommend the the coconut rice in whatever you get.Prices are fair considering you are in central Surf City in the middle of everything touristy.Atmosphere, the seating is all outdoor covered and uncovered picnic, rail counter or small table seating. I don't know I'd say it's good for large parties and it's not a formal eating place.Highly recommend Shaka Taco, just wish the location was easier to get in and out of sometimes.Parking: There are 2 small lots for parking next to the building but they are hard to navigate if you have a large vehicle.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a handicap accessible ramp to the ordering window and they will bring your food to your table after ordering.“

“If you eat a lot I do not recommend this place. For the cost, the serving size doesn’t match in my opinion. However the food and atmosphere are wonderful and everyone here is so nice. Just wish they had bigger portions for people like my husband who’s a big eater. For the price we paid, we usually leave full plus some leftovers. Otherwise it’s a great place and the food was delicious no doubt.“
