Great servers and wait staff. If you’re in a mood for pizza you’re better off skipping this place. The pizza we ordered was horrible. This was our third visit here hoping the pizza would be better this time but unfortunately it was not.The toppings of sausages, mushrooms are literally grated so thin to barely perceivable. The sprinkled bacon bits $2.25 were invisible. So $30 bucks for a crust was a total ripoff. We put the pizza in their carryout box and handed it to owner who gave us a blank stare. Bye bye!

New favorite Italian restaurant!! The pesto tortellini and Detroit style pizza are to die for. Not to mention amazing service, beautiful atmosphere, good wine, and a friendly owner. We will be coming back here for sure!!!

This place has great Italian food and pizza. The restaurant is extremely friendly, but it is kind of small so be prepared to wait on busy nights. They also make their own nice crusty Italian bread that can't be beat. Unfortunately, it's closed on Sundays and Mondays and here in Troutman so is the other pizza place... I don't include the chains.

Went to Pellegrino’s last night with my fiancé. Absolutely fantastic night. Great food, great wine and great service. The Pappardelle Ai Funghi Di Bisco was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. Perfect combination of mushrooms, sausage and pasta. We also split the Detroit style pizza that we will be able to eat as leftovers for a couple days. Absolutely massive pie. I live in Charlotte and would tell anyone that the drive is well worth it.

The eggplant Parmesan was some of the best I have ever experienced. This restaurant is legit and worth the trip from Charlotte. I don’t know how they chose Troutman but I’m glad I stopped by.
