Someone really needs to do something about this location. Saying the staff is terrible is a huge understatement to say the least. If there was any confusion regarding if the employees respect the fact they have a job at all, just listen to the conversations that go on between them. Comments range from how they dislike their position, to their fatigue with having to serve others and the fact they are 'so tired' of everything. I ordered two 20 piece nuggets and a large fry...first thing I heard was a comment about how there wasn't enough fries to complete my order and they didn't feel like dropping more. So they proceeded to give me the order with half the fries that should be a large, soggy and cold. Obviously I requested fresh fries...that produced a smart comment about how sorry they were for my inconvenience. I believe the employees name was Riley whom I must say was a sorry sight of an individual. Greasy hair, dirty uniform and generally unkempt. Good thing he wasn't the one cooking my food. This person then proceeded to make mocking comments regarding my sweatshirt which had Pennywise the Clown on the front. Apparently he thought it was amusing by attempting to mimic Pennywise's voice and let me know he just clocked out and was off work now. I'm not sure what his intentions were by this but luckily for him I am an adult and do not humor children. I have been in customer service for over 20 years and let me tell you that the people employed in this restaurant are an absolute reflection of the person who manages it and the other review comments for this location proves that point. The fact that this McDonald's is the only fast food location in Valdese is a total waste of an opportunity. I want to add that the 'fresh fries' I requested were under cooked and still soggy which is a huge health concern. Way to go!

People do not care about the customers and talk about their home life around customers, not only that there's drug use in the back and you can smell it and hear the employees talk about it! They share too much of their personal life in front of customers and meanwhile the customers are waiting at least 15 to 20 minutes for a biscuit! I worked there and I knew too much BEFORE I started and could have done without knowing everyone was in a relationship with each other while making food for the public and it's supposed to be sanitary! Would not recommend this unless you were absolutely starving and I'd check my food BEFORE I left every time! A woman told me she refused to go through the drive thru because they N-E-V-E-R got her order right! That's not a team ! ???

The GRAVY BUISCUITS get cut with water to save money. So it’s like eating wet buiscuits with a hint of flour. I remember a few times where the water was sitting on top of the gravy;like it didn’t want to mix. Place been like that for a year or two now . The gravy at exit 105 ain’t like that. Bogus .
I always get the mocha Frapp, with no whip cream and keep the chocolate drizzle. I love

Be very careful when ordering from this McDonald's, the workers don't seem to listen very well, and follow directions. Make sure to check your order right at the window, or you'll find yourself with a totally different order than what you asked for, like I did. It's early in the day, normally I would check the order, but pulled off because I was still tired and waking up. Ordered a sausage biscuit, but found that when I got home, that it was an egg and cheese biscuit instead. I'd go back, but I live all the way in Morganton, a lady told me I should stop at Bud's Corner for breakfast, guess this is what I get for not listening... smh ?
