I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Tony and Bobby at Buku Wake Forest. We had the BEST meal tonight while supporting an awesome local business owner. We took advantage of their take out meals that feed 4 for $40. Tonight we enjoyed the Thai Family Meal which came with fresh Chicken Satay, Shrimp Pad Thai, Vegetable Masaman Curry, Green Papaya Salad, Steamed White Rice, and Chile Green Beans! I encourage you to stop by and give them some love this week!Thank you Buku!

My wife and I are so glad to know bu ku isn’t a far drive from us. We had the best takeout meal tonight, which was the Thai family meal. So much flavor and food for the 2 of us for $40. We each made good size plates since we were hungry, but we have at least 2 maybe 3 meals left. Talked to the owner for a few minutes tonight. Very nice and passionate about their food. They definitely have a reason to be proud converting tapas into such great take out meals. Go support them can’t wait to try another meal soon. I think it will be the Vietnamese family meal next.

This is a family favorite! We have been taking advantage of the family style meals they've been serving since the pandemic started. We've tried the Thai, Vietnamese and Mediterranean meals and they are absolutely delicious! The flavors are amazing, the amount of food is wonderful and the price (you can't beat)!

During this pandemic we have cooked more meals at home, but there are some restaurants that are just Sooo.. Good that no matter how hard you try you can’t come close to recreating their recipes. Bu.Ku is one of them! A gem of a restaurant that has a long history in Raleigh. Initially located downtown it now resides in a small plaza in Wake Forest. Food is awesome and plentiful. Due to Covid the owner has had to extremely cut back to survive, but the food is still Excellent! If you want great Thai food or Mediterranean then you HAVE to give them a try I guarantee you’ll not be disappointed. For our family of three the family meal lasted 3 days! At less than $50! Can’t beat it!

We’ve had both the Latin and the Mediterranean family meals. They were both delicious and too much food for the four us to eat for one meal. Especially enjoyed the Latin meal, everyone made something different. Thanks, Bu.ku for amazing food for such a great price!

The wife and I get a wonderful dinner and an amazing lunch out of the Buku family meals. It’s incredible food that goes a loNg way for a great price. Thank you so much for your dedication to good food! Authentic in every way! The Latin meal is a food adventure! From the homemade chips and shrimp ceviche to the slow roasted meats and cheese dip! Not to mention the generous portions that make leftovers a treat! Do yourself a favor and order dinner!
