To use the website to order? The young lady on the phone when I called to let them know was very nice and professional. Previous orders have been a mixed bag for us, but this was more than likely our last time ordering food from here.

It's a cute place! But the cleanliness wasn't there. I think perhaps they were short staffed. But the floors under the table were pretty gross. The girl who helped us wasn't very shy when she expressed the disgust that 6 people came in during lunch... and they were dead. It was just a bit off-putting. Otherwise the food, even though kind of expensive ($30 for 5 tacos and 2 fountain drinks) it had pretty size-able portions and was pretty good!

You know how sometimes you think about a particular food all day. Then dinner time comes and you're super excited to eat that food. Then you get the food and you taste it and you feel Like you've been cat-fished and you absolutely wasted time, calories, and a meal. That was pretty much my experience here. Lol if you're ever craving tacos, trust me there is better out there for you. Taco Bell might even be more satisfying. This tasted so bland, the meat was extremely dry. And the tortillas were practically cardboard. I could barely swallow the first bite. I ordered the chorizo, steak fajita, and spicy carne asada btw. This is a place I'd recommend to my enemies for sure. Oh and I ordered queso fundido with chips. And that somehow never made it in my bag. (Should have checked before I left the restaurant). Long story short, this place is awful lol.

This was a very disappointing meal.We got 4 different dishes, and they were all bland and flavorless. All the dishes basically just tasted like the shredded lettuce that was heaped on top of everything. The portions were large, but that just left us with big cheap styrofoam plates of soggy lettuce with some dry pieces of meat hiding in it. We are definitely not coming back considering all the other delicious options in the area.

Chubby’s has been a go to spot for me to eat lunch and dinner. The food is always delicious, and the service is great. The food is out within 5 mins, and I finish the food within 5 mins. The queso that comes with the chips is the best I’ve ever had. Chubby’s is an awesome restaurant, and I think everyone needs to try it.

Terrible customer service. I stood in line 5 minutes and wasn’t acknowledged. One of the employees finally walked near the register and I told her that I needed to order. I asked her why she had not acknowledged me and she said that she was making sure the chips didn’t burn. I guess chips are more important than customers nowadays. Needless to say I left and went elsewhere.
I have eaten here a few times and never disappointed with the tacos. I asked for a fajita chicken bowl with rice, quac, Pico, sour cream and no cheese. I got a nasty mess of horrible chicken not fajita chicken black beans and lettuce in a nasty liquid that looks like black water. This is a disgrace and after this experience and trash food I am not going back and I recommend they do something about serving your customers garbage. The chicken tastes horrible. I am not even going to eat this it's disgusting. I'm apauled at the look and taste of this meal. My advice before you leave if you are getting something for take out check it while you are in the restaurant not after you get home.

Decided to get Chubbys tacos last night. Spent over $50 for all the meals. I ordered a chicken fajita bowl with rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole and Pico. No cheese. Unfortunately before we left the establishment we did not check the order because you would think that was very straight forward and you could get that order correct. When we got home it was rancid chicken chunks, black beans and old lettuce. Mind you lettuce was not even included in the order. I added some salsa to maybe make it so you could maybe eat it. No you couldn't. I had to throw it away in fear I would get sick from eating the horrible food. It even had a black watery substance that made it even more unappealing. I was looking forward to eating my dinner but instead I had to trash it because it was not even good enough to feed to an animal. My pig would have refused to eat this and he eats everything, that's how terrible this was. I will say in the past there hasn't been a problem with the tacos but this , this was a bad. If you choose to eat here please check your take out orders before you leave the establishment. You do not want to get home when you were looking forward to your dinner and find the garbage I was served. They have gone down hill in the last 7 to 8 months. Not sure if it's because of covid or what but it definitely requires some attention if they want people to continue to come back. At this point I would not recommend anyone eat here until they clean up their act and customer service.

I just read the disclaimer that many restaurants are doing their best during COVID and I believe that. My heart goes out to those struggling, honest restaurants. However, what I experienced today at the Cubby's Taco in Wake Forest was not, "doing your best." I placed an online order for pickup for which I was charged a $2.99 processing fee for an order I had to go inside to pick up. I could understand the fee more if they offered curbside pickup. Then to add insult to injury, the app charges for the salsas, $2.99 for 6oz and $4.99 or $5.99 for 12 oz. I selected 2, 6oz. portions of salsa, almost $6 total. I thought it was strange to have to pay for salsa and not to be given a certain number of free ones. My husband goes into the restaurant to pickup our order, but does not realize the salsas I ordered were left out. So, I go back into the restaurant and spoke with the young lady behind the counter. She apologizes and tells me that the salsas were left out because typically patrons come in and can choose as many as they like for FREE! I left there angry, but was in a rush to get back to work and did not ask to speak to a manager. On the way back to work, I attempted to call the restaurant SEVERAL times and each time the phone went straight to busy. It did not ring at all. So, I have not been able to reach anyone at the restaurant, even during lunch time. They weren't busy, and there wasn't a single patron in the restaurant eating when I went in. THEN, to make matters even worse, the burritos I purchased were missing quite a few of the additional items I paid for. My total bill for 2 burritos for my husband and I that were not very good, included a $2.99 processing fee, $6 in "FREE," salsa and missing paid for extra items came to $31. That's RIDICULOUS! I'll just go to Chipotle next time and pay 1/2 that. I still haven't been able to reach anyone at the restaurant to discuss my experience, so here I am! This is in no way, "doing the best," you can! Good luck staying in business with these practices and no working phones during lunch time!
