Delicious, and the server was *so nice*! There was a dish I used to have years ago at a different Guatemalan restaurant, and the server instantly knew what to was when I described it. And it was just as delicious here as I remembered from the other restaurant! Everything we got was so yummy and fresh and wonderful.
This place is a gem in Wake Forest. Fun little store up front. Fresh made blackberry juice! The little sirloin tacos were delicious. Warm fresh tortillas. The meat was perfectly done. The tamales were huge! Don't forget homemade salsa bar and delicious chips! So many varieties. We will be back here and bring more people. Friendly and fast service.
Phenomenal food! Incredible pupusas, guac, margaritas, taquitos. The salsa and cabbage salad with the pupusas were amazing. We also tried tamales, pastelitos, tres leches, and strawberry líquido - all pretty good. Will be coming back :)Kid-friendliness: Kids liked it a lot, they were patient with our two little ones!

We tried tostadas, pupusas, ribs, and a chicken stew and all of it was excellent! So many things we still have to try and they do breakfast on Saturday and Sunday... We'll be back!Someone gave a 1 star for their kid getting roto virus and blamed this restaurant. How? It tastes 2 days from exposure. . How do you know it was the soup? SMH

We went to this restaurant because gonza's was not open and we are happy we did. At first looking at the menu it didn't look too exciting and there was almost no items with cheese which blew our mind, but boy were we wrong. We got the salsa and guacamole with chips and the chips were hot and fresh and the guacamole and salsa were delicious. Probably the best guacamole we've had in a long time. My daughter got the tiera y mar and the steak was good, the shrimp was delicious, the beans were delicious and it came with a nice salad. My wife got a chicken kebab dish and everything on it was delicious. I got the tacos de Papa and they only had three tacos so they substituted the other two with empanadas, absolutely delicious! They also have a salsa bar with all types of salsa, sauces and other items to put on your food. The manager was our waiter and he did awesome. You know you've done something right when your beans are so delicious they are something to go back for :-). You gotta try this place out!

I was at best, below average. The price was high and the quality was low. When compared to the local equivalent I would say this should be a 2-3 star rated restaurant
