I was visiting my granddaughter in Wake Forest, back in February of this year. They suggested we pick up a pizza from Johnny's. I said okay thinking it was another Pizza Joint. Well, by far it's not just another Pizza Joint!! This is the best by far Pizza I have ever eaten!! I wish we had one in Chesapeake Virginia. The only complaint is, they don't give you a tub of sauce to dip it in. I enjoyed every bite and I look forward to going back next time I'm there!!

So amazing! I had placed an order at a different establishment for a youth activity, but when I went to pick it up, they didn't have it! I thought I'd see if Johnny's Pizza could help, and they jumped right in getting me pizza as quickly as they could. (You can only make it cook so fast ?) I'm so appreciative of how much they sympathized with my problem and did what they could to help with a solution.

Update: my issue has been promptly addressed1st time ordering, and the pizza was very tasty. Wings OK --- not crispy, wrong dip. Unfortunately, we have a couple of other issues.1st: we ordered a 2L diet coke, and upon delivery were informed that 5 cans were substituted. That's fine, however we got regular coke which is not so great for us.2nd and more importantly: we paid for an order of zeppoles which were not delivered. This is upsetting.I look forward to management correcting the 2nd issue (particularly), and the ability to amend this review.

Just tried their vegan cheese for the first time. If I couldn’t visually tell the difference in the half pizza that had my vegan cheese i would not have even known it was vegan. Don’t know what brand they use but it is excellent! Love their early week special on an 18 inch pie. Will be back soon!

We love johnny’s! We have had it delivered through slice and it is our favorite pizza go to in Wake Forest. The owner, Johnny, gave us a free voucher because we told him how much we like the pizza. I think that is a great way to retain customers. We will always choose Johnny’s when getting pizza.
I generally order the cheese steak sandwich, but started to notice that they would pack lettuce on the bottom of the sandwich and sprinkle a little steak across top giveing the appearance that the sandwich had a generous portion of meat, but it did not. The sandwich was packed with lettuce and touch of meat. I brought this to their attention twice, and they made it right the second time. I ordered the sandwich again on Friday March 1, 2024 and I got once again a sandwich packed with lettuce. I called back to the store to complain explaining exactly what they were doing. The manager stated he would give me $5.00 my next sandwich, there won’t be a next sandwich, I am done with them. There is also no cheese on the sandwich.

5 Stars? I think Google made a simple mistake here and needs to offer 10 stars! I've been going to this pizza and pasta joint for a while now and I must say, I'm highly impressed! The staff here are always amazing and friendly to me. They are well-attentive and clean. As for the food, this is possibly the best pizza joint I've had so far! The NY cheese pizza has always been a great classic, but their Sicilian-style pizza took me by surprise. It was heavenly, straight out of God's oven. Just ordered from here yesterday evening and like always, the staff were phenomenal and the food, well, like I mentioned, 5 stars simply isn't enough AT ALL. Johnny's Pizza has won my heart and I hope it'll win others as well. To the direct owner of this establishment, keep it up! I'll be going to your pizza joint for many years to come!

Well, we were disappointed with the buffalo chicken sandwich because it had no visible buffalo sauce and included odd items you would not expect on a buffalo sandwich, such as mayo and banana peppers. The chicken was breaded, which is hit or miss, but not a deal breaker. They also included tomato which is odd but I can admit maybe some people want that. Also, the proportions were terrible. The steak and cheese looked old and was skant, although it did taste good. Ultimately, the bad proportions and lack of adhering to standard expectations of food items led me to give 2 stars. There is no excuse for the shortage in filling the bread.
