Let me first start of by saying I couldn't find the hours of this place so I called. The young girl stated they closed at 1pm. When I got in the restaurant at 12:20 I asked the older lady at the counter what time they closed she said 2pm and the grill closes between 1-1:30? I mean what kind of hours are those and how are your customers suppose to know whats going on? Their drink machines didn't work, tables were dirty, wait staff was eating Cheetos and on their phones taking selfies right out in the open, I asked for a highchair for my baby and it was dirty and a older the girl told her to wipe it down and she looks at me and says do you want me to clean it? I just said forget it. I had my own wipes and will do it with that type of attitude. The syrup bottles were filthy along with the rest of the place! Our food was half decent but not good enough to over look all the other mess. There are way to many other great places in WF to eat to put up with that. Our family won't be back and it's sad because we use to love this place before COVID not sure what's happening here. I don't think we were the only ones to notice though because you use to not even be able to get in this place and it was vacant on a weekend morning!

If you frequent a restaurant often you're almost sure to have an "off" day eventually. Well, it's been 3 years for me and it's been great everytime...food and service. Fun casual atmosphere too.

Went there pre Covid and liked it. Returned recently after Covid restrictions were relaxed and was very disappointed. Maybe they are short staffed but by the time our food was brought to our table it was cold. French Toast was cold, eggs and pancakes were cold making for an undesirable breakfast. We noticed a couple next to us that after their food was delivered they must have had the same issue as they left without eating much of their meal. They need to get hot breakfast food delivered hot to the table versus preparing it and let it sit too long. Staff are friendly and pleasant but this issue makes me unlikely to return and to seek other breakfast places.

Funny Folks been in Wake Forest for Five Years and Never ate here before. A Friend of mine was up and mentioned going there and I said Ok, SO glad he did!!! Once You get Inside the place the Small Town Family Atmosphere hits you smack in the Face!!! Just the aroma of those donuts and other pastries make your taste Buds go wild!!! Now I'm all for that traditional Breakfast of Sausage and Eggs with Grits!!! Yes Folks they have Biscuits too!!! Stop by and like Me enjoy a very good meal.

This is my favorite hidden gem in town. I frequent this spot at least once a week if not more. I'm vegetarian and they always accommodate me and make ordering slight changes to a menu item very easy. I love the huevos for breakfast and usually build-my-own sandwiches for lunch. The salads are HUGE and always fresh. The pastries and donuts are out of this world! It's cozy and quaint and yes, attached to a gas station. But don't let that fool you, it's filled with local charm and character. I love to sit and work over lunch here. Everyone is so friendly and usually a local or two will say hello and have a short chat which is so nice. It's not a large place so if you're expecting lots of room or for them to be able to fit a very large party, this maybe isn't the place for you.

Can only speak to the doughnuts, but I am leaving a 5 star review just based on those, so that's saying something! Fresh, fluffy, delicious. Not overly-sweet. We've tried plenty of flavors and loved them all. Service is always great. Get there early if you want to have a good selection!

I've always heard such great things for years, but my food was ehh okay. Nothing too special. Maybe it's the bakery that's the best! And it look a little long to get all the food

Breakfast is pretty good and their pastries are absolutely to die for. A great spot to meet up with an old friend, grab a good breakfast, and bring home a pastry or two.

They were not open according to their advertised schedule and were still unloading food from vehicles. It was black Friday morning so I can understand. We didn't eat here because they weren't sure exactly when they would be ready for breakfast.

What a fabulous little gem! We stopped in for breakfast and could not have been happier! The bakery items, donuts, bread, biscuits are delightful and delicious!!!! Hash browns were perfect and my eggs were spot on. Can’t wait to come back!!!

We went to Main Street Grille again. It used to be sooooo good, but the past year,, the food is subpar. Most of my lettuce was black and rotten. Once, a few visits ago, I had the broccoli cheddar cheese soup and it was like eating a burned cheese liquid with very little broccoli. Please come back to your original goodness!
