The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. We ordered red chicken curry/white rice, shrimp tempura/fried rice, and ? ? ? very spicy Thai chicken basil. It was perfect, the tempura batter was nice and light and food was seasoned to our liking - hot but not burning. Portions were great. Waitress kept our drinks full. Restaurant was clean. We are picky eaters and we left here happy.Vegetarian options: Tofu and vegetable dishes

Lady took our food before we were done eating, didn’t ask if we wanted drinks, and demanded a tip???

I wish I had a better review for Sushi Siam. The food is generally pretty good, it’s a small place that seats a good number of people, but service is hit or miss and last night was a miss. It’s definitely understandable that a lot of places are short staffed, but taking the small minute to check in and make sure everything is still moving would have made a world of difference. We put in our order and the apps came pretty quick, but after 40 minutes of waiting it became clear that our party was forgotten and our entrees were somewhere left behind. Once the server finally realized, we realized that our food was never made. There was no apology or proactive action until we said something, and when asked we were told “well you have a large party”… but a table of similar size who came after us, received their food before us. It’s unfortunate but ultimately all we needed was an actual apology and acknowledgment that they forgot our order completely. The net here, order take out only from sushi Siam. You’ll save yourself time and energy.

When I spend over $10 for take out, I expect to be full. I placed my order online and when I went to pick up and I looked in the box, I thought there must have been a mistake and I had ordered the kids portion. Typically to go hibachi fills the entire box. Even lunch portions. No, this is their lunch portion. Look at the size of your hand and that’s the size you’ll receive.I told the hostess that there must of been a mistake and she said no. This is was for their lunch. I explained to her this would not fill me up, as I’m currently breastfeeding my little one and need more calories. She told me to order dinner. I told her I would not because I just had spent over $10 on a meal. Will not be back. Rice and dry was dry. Vegetables were good. The few I received.

We were broken hearted to learn Asuka was closed today so we gave this place a shot. We ordered sushi to go. The overall taste was average and it is overpriced for what you get for individual rolls, although the BOGO is nice. The rice was mushy, the Kani tasted like it had been sitting out and tasted dry. There was a liberal use of tempura flakes. If you've had limited experience with sushi, this place is fine. Sushi snobs stay away.

I want to like this place because people rave about it but the service is always terrible. Whether we sit down or get take out, they’re not attentive. The food isn’t worth it.

Sushi Siam is a hidden gem in Wake Forest. My boyfriend and I discovered this wonderful Japanese-Thai restaurant more than a year ago and visit frequently. Inside is lovely and quaint enough for a date, but casual enough to go eat sushi and drink sake with friends. Today though our experience surpassed any before. First greeted by a lovely and smiling hostess, we were then taken care of by a delightful and warm-spirited young waiter. Our meals were incredible. I had the Lunch Bento Box #6 with Tuna Tataki. It was perfection. The tuna was seared exactly right, and the texture and taste of the tuna were mouth-watering. The accompanying sides were also on another level. The California rolls were expertly rolled with fresh and generously filled ingredients inside. The side salad was the best they had ever made with a blend of greens, and grated carrots tossed just the right amount of ginger dressing. Their sushi rice is the best I have ever had in my life, and I could be satisfied eating a bowl of just that. My boyfriend had the bento box #7 with the sashimi variety, and he couldn’t stop raving about each piece. An all-around amazing restaurant that offers such a large variety of delicious options that anyone can find something to enjoy there. I look forward to visiting again very soon.

I have visited this restaurant often within the last few months. They offer bogo sushi, which in todays times makes a difference…Especially if you are like me and like to taste a little of this and a little of that! I have NEVER been dissatisfied by an order I’ve received. I don’t really eat raw sushi rolls ( other than roe/tobiko) and they have several options that have cooked seafood, which I appreciate! It’s about about 25 minute drive for me, but well worth it. I haven’t tried much of the menu aside from sushi, other than their chicken Panang Curry, which is also amazing! Every time i’ve gone in for my pickup order the same hostess greets me & she’s always been pleasant as well! I’ve never dined in, but plan to one day in the near future!Items pictured: sushi siam roll, bagel roll, tempura roll, susuki 900 roll, crunchy special roll & the Hawaiian roll.

This is my second time trying sushi from here and it’s been underwhelming both times. It’s not inedible by any means, but the quality just isn’t anything to write home about (especially not for the price - $90 for four rolls). Next time I’ll try an entree instead, maybe that will be the winner.

The food was ok. I had the chicken hibachi and we got 2 sushi rolls. The sushi was ok, wasn’t the best I had. I do like that they have buy one get one free sushi. I also had the friend ice cream it was pretty good. The atmosphere is cute and relaxing.
