The Ruben there is amazing! Haven't had a bad sandwich there tho. The staff is friendly and helpful. Inside area is always clean. Does get busy but is worth it!

After paying $30 and waiting 20 min for a sandwich and burger, the order was wrong. They gave us a sandwich loaded with onions and almost no chicken (not at all the sandwich we asked for). We were so hungry that we choked it down the best we could. There aren’t many restaurants in Wake Forest, so we’ll return at some point, but it won’t be any time soon. Do better or charge less.

Fantastic food and excellent customer service. If you stop in, I recommend the bacon cheeseburger and the onion rings and for dessert I recommend either the chocolate cake or the lemonade cake.

Paid $20 for the skimpiest sandwich I’ve ever seen, a side and a cookie bar. No drink. Chicken salad was more like a spread. With the majority being the apples, walnuts and cucumbers, which were not mixed in with the chicken salad. So some bites were just walnuts and apples with bread. With today’s prices, make spending $20 worth it. Prices went up and quantity when down.
Ordered the all natural roasted turkey off DoorDash and it was a really good sandwich. Good portions as well just the right amount. I got the chipotle mayo on the sandwich which tied it all together. Will order again for sure.

I am absolutely floored by how I was just treated at WF Village Deli. It used to be such a nice place. I went in today as I was doing some food deliveries. I am out of work full time work right now.I had been waiting about 10 minutes, no big deal, it was lunch and they were very busy. But knowing I would have to serve the drink myself, I went up to ask if I could have the cup so I could go ahead and get that ready. I approached the young lady sending out dine-in food. Before I could get out a word, she rudely said, you have to go over there, meaning the space right next to it. So I went where I was told and again tried to ask for the cup so I could have my customer's order ready to go. Before I could get a whole word out, the lady there started YELLING at me. IT IS RIGHT HERE, I HAVE IT, IT ISNT READY YET. I tried a couple times to again ask the question, but couldnt be heard over her yelling. When I finally got my food, she yelled after me, DON'T EVER COME BACK!Well, dont worry, I never will.

In town for work and decided to come here for dinner. Got the club sandwich with cold slaw and fruit cup. Dang best club sandwich and bread I think I've ever had. Finished up with a slice of the carrot cake which was delicious!
