Pastrami and Swiss cheese sanwich (called the Lure), pimento cheese sandwich (called the Shotgun), potato salad, lobster bisque, Hershey cake, and chocolate chess pie were all very tasty! Only a 10 minute wait between order and food to the table. Pleasant cashier and server. A+ 99.5 sanitation rating!! We recommend!

So I am a transplant from the northeast to the south and am still not used to small town living. One of my biggest complaints is the lack of basic services, including a decent restaurant. Then I tried the Hardware Cafe, which I have always passed thinking it was a local hardware store and was pleasantly surprised to find that it is a charming, bistro type eatery with some pretty good food. I tried the stuffed chicken with a baked potato and lobster bisque, yum. This entree was absolutely delicious. The young lady behind the counter was friendly, warm and very helpful in explaining the menu . I loved the unique atmosphere and the very relaxing background music. I purchased my food to go, but the music and chill atmosphere caused me to sit, play some candy crush and relax out for a few minutes. To top it all off I had a slice of the yellow cake with mandarin orange inside and it was so good. Will definitely be returning to this nearby gem.

We went for breakfast. Their menu for breakfast is mostly bagels/biscuits/breakfast sandwiches. Our food was delicious! A perfect place to stop before our long drive back to Florida. The staff was super friendly and the dining room is unique and lovely. Great atmosphere! Loved the Ghostbusters display in their outside window. ❤️?

The sandwiches are Good ! They have a limited menu . You order your food then go set down and they bring it to you . The atmosphere is ,,, well its a revived hardware atmosphere . Currently the best game in town .

Quaint atmosphere, loved the tools, toys, and various oddities which were part of the old hardware store. The sandwiches we got were delicious and served in a short period of time. It's on my list to return to and recommend to others.
