Marabella was recommended to me both at my hotel and by the locals in town so that is where I went for my Italian dinner. They have been in business for 40 years so that speaks to the quality too. they started in Brooklyn but are now in Washington. Marabella's has its own parking lot and a drive thru as well. Although I am not sure if it is just to pick up orders already placed or if you can order at the drive thru. But either way that would be a convenient way to pick up dinner. I dined here earlier than I'd normally eat dinner as I didn't want to miss the NC State game. I was seated in the enclosed outside dining room. I'm not sure if it is just a sun room or if it opens in warmer weather. Marabella has fresh ingredients and makes their own dough and sauces. I had already looked at the menu so knew what I was going to order as I needed some comfort food as I was in pain from my broken finger. But I was given time to look over the menu which I liked and almost went with the scampi. Warm bread and oil was brought out while I looked through the extensive menu. Another table near me ordered a pizza and after hearing the reaction to that pizza I knew I needed to try that too. So I ended up with the fettuccine alfredo as my comfort dish and then ordered a white pizza so more cheese and olive oil and garlic. I was extremely pleased with their sauce. It was the perfect creaminess and not too heavy. The portion was large too and I almost managed to eat it all as it was so good. The pizza was fantastic as well and some of the best I've had. I only had a slice or two hot from the oven but the leftovers were just as tasty. It was cooked perfectly and all the cheese just melted so good. When it was time to pay, and they take the credit cards at the table, I was told my meals had been taken care of by someone. I'm not sure who did this random act of kindness or pay it forward but I appreciated their kindness. I'm usually the one who does the RAOKs so it was heartwarming to be on the other end of it. I wish I lived closer to Marabella so might have to plan another trip just to eat here again. It is worth the drive.

I was very disappointed with my most recent dining experience. I ordered the baked ziti with sausage. It came out dry with what appeared to be a slice of cheese on top. If I wanted reheated ziti I could have easily purchased a frozen meal from the grocery store and warmed it in the microwave with a piece a cheese on top and it would have come out tasting and looking better than my meal. I was not the only one at my table that ordered the ziti and theirs also came out even dryer and tasting worse than mine. Our waitress asked if she wanted me to get the kitchen to remake it and I took her up on the offer. This turned out to be a worse decision than ordering or eating here in the first place. They only added more to my original plate and did not remake anything. I know this to be true due to the fact of the looks and layering of my “remade” plate. The ziti still tasted and looked horrible. It wasn’t worth saying anything about again because obviously nothing was going to be done not an apology, offer of another dish, nothing. To fuel the fire another plate at our table had hair in the food. Needless to say my birthday dinner was ruined all thanks to Marabella of Washington.

Pizza is either "well done on the verge of burnt and usually has way too much cheese on it. Makes it to heavy and soggy. Otherwise, it's a great little place with wonderful service and a big menu selection. ? Worth the trip, but just avoid the pizza unless you like it over done done with too much cheese.
We love Marsbella's. It is so warm and welcoming when we go inside.The service has always been great.Everything is the very best. We love spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli, salads and more.Our most favorite spot for lunch and dinners.
The atmosphere is charming and the Italian food outstanding. Angela our waitress was gracious and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and we look forward to returning.

The calzone is awesome has a lot of fillings and big pizza ? compared to what u get at Domino's. And the seating area is good and have yr own party area too and can be sealed off from other seating areas
Excellent pizza whether you are dining out or getting takeout. Been in town for just under 2 months and have already been there 3 times. Matter of fact, maybe tonight will be number 4.
