“While traveling I stopped here for lunch today. A huge breath of fresh air. They had 4 employees working the counter and each of them had friendly and welcoming attitudes. They were super efficient and really cared about making a great quality of sandwich. I didn't have to beg for a napkin like majority of Subway restaurants. They cared enough and had the common sense to realize a customer will need a napkin.I applaud the management of this restaurant for hiring these type of employees which are rare to find in today's poor work world.Great job guys. I shall return.“
“Shelby did an amazing job make our order with several special requests and having several other orders coming in. I was most empress with how she handled an elderly gentleman who was hard of hearing and not sure what to order. “What an adorable hidden gem tucked off the street. Outdoor setting is dog friendly. Pups even got a treat. Owner is delightful. I had homemade vegetable beef soup and some mixed greens with a vinaigrette. My husband had a tuna melt sandwich. Highly recommend“

“Our first time trying Old School Subs & Salads was a game-changer. No other sub places need apply. By far the best sub sandwich I've had in a long time and I'm now committed to trying everything on their menu. What a great experience to walk into a new (to us) shop and be greeted with a friendly welcome! Every member of the crew was friendly and conversational. Made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable with a fun mural on the wall and a good amount of indoor seating. Looks like additional outdoor seating is also available on warm days. Old School Subs is now our go-to place in Asheville for sandwiches hot and cold.“

“Finally, a place with truly hot hot wings with the mad dog sauce!! I’m the type that eats reaper and ghost pepper and only one other place has this level of heat in a sauce. I deducted a star because they left off the toppings I ordered for my sandwich delivery and the website needs more descriptives for their menu items. Overall, great food and recommended!“

“Jersey Mike's is the best sub restaurant in Asheville NC! Everything is so fresh. The restaurant has wonderful cheerful workers, that are also very helpful when u wanna try something new! They get to know u and automatically greet you by name as they see you come in the door. The Jersey Mike's we always go to is beside Chuckie cheese off Tunnel Rd. My family loves this place. “It was fresh and so tasty. The staff was great. The restaurant was up to date and cleaned. The only issue was one restroom out of order. Not an issue to my self and my wife, but some people would be appalled one bathroom being out of order.“
