“They were very busy, but everyone at my table was done eating and l still had not gotten my food. I only ordered chilli cheese fries and the chilli was burnt. The waitress was very good and apologized for the food being late and removed it from my bill. I will give them another try on a day not so busy.“

“In the Pinehurst area for a golf weekend and Google searched breakfast places and The Village Cafe came up, good ratings so four of us went to grab a late breakfast. Very nice place, clean, and nice people working there. I got the Traditional breakfast plate, two eggs, hash browns, toast and the meat choice was the Liver Pudding. Never had it, the nice waitress said it was a "rectangular mush". I was not sold until she said some people think it’s like "Scrapple". Sold! I like Scrapple when I can find it, it was basically the same thing, the presentation of it was not the greatest on the plate. Otherwise it was good! Would go here again for sure.Parking: Gravel lot on side“

“Melt in your mouth filet mignon. My dinner companion had the Lamb Ragu Pappardelle Pasta and said it was divine as well. The wine options were outstanding and we had the Apple dessert. It was a cozy atmosphere and just sad I didn’t try this place sooner. Highly recommend“

“You are coming here for the views/vibe/atmosphere in my opinion. My last visit, the food was better than most places, but there were so many black flies on the patio. Always a lovely place to enjoy a meal, a bourbon drink and people watching though!“

“I wish there were more than 5 stars to give! Whitney is one of the most professional and personable servers I have encountered in many years. The food was prompt and delicious. It was a great experience but our server was absolutely exceptional!!“

“Had the Hamburger Steak smothered with grilled onions, and mushrooms over mashed potatoes and green beans! It was amazing… The Philly Cheese Steak with Fries was huge. Full with meat… That fact the meat kept falling out made it more tempting…“

“Love this place!!!! Sit at the bar and Jackie will take care of you! So many great choices! Get there by 5:30 and you will get the best happy hour in town! You'll get a salad or a cup of soup with your order! I had the curry and it was so fresh and spicy! My girl had the kebabs and they were excellent!“

“Had sweet potato fries as an appetizer. Serving was plenty for two people. Four could enjoy it. We had the grilled cheese sandwich with bacon. It was great! Tater tots as a side.It was a little dark and dreary. Wish it was a little brighter. Clean restrooms. Plenty of tvs showing a golf game. Empty when we arrived and filled up more around late lunch time.“

“Food was the best. Waitress was very sweet and kind. The atmosphere very homey. all the food is locally sourced. One recommendation instead of canned sodas I would get a fountain machine. Because one the canned soda the customer may not finish and you waste half a can of soda.“

“Our church's Seniors (about 20) meet here each month for lunch and a brief program. Our leader asks for our choices of several entrees and passes that info on to the staff. The food is consistently excellent and so is the service. This week I tried something new - chicken quesadilla with tortilla chips - came with sour cream and picante on the side - outstanding taste and quality!! Their chicken cashew is also yummy. Staff are attentive to refilling our drinks and checking on us, and manage to smoothly take care of all those payments. Highly recommend.“
“Villaggio's is wonderful. My friend and I shared rollatini roses as an appetizer. They graciously added a fourth one so we could split evenly. The bechamel on these was fantastic. I had the ravioli of the day. 2 huge chicken and herb filled ravioli in a spicy marinara sauce. Amazing. Their pasta is an Al dente treat! I finished with a silky chocolate mousse. Service was stellar! I will return!“

“It's a cool little place, in a nice area with little shopping stores. The staff was very friendly. The food was great. I ordered the fried green tomatoe tacos and added bacon and it was amazing. I think the taco my boyfriend ordered was maybe like the Korean with like a plum sauce or something I believe either way it was very good just on the tad spicy side.“

“The entire experience was fantastic! I savored the chicken and tuna salads alongside unsweetened tea. As I was finishing my meal, I couldn't resist ordering a croissant. I'm willing to drive an hour and a half to explore more of their menu on my next visit. The attentive staff and prompt food service made it all the more enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. I can’t wait until you open a location closer to me in the Triangle!“

“Easily one of best restaurants in the area. Service is classic and impeccable. Food is supremely gourmet, wonderfully high quality, beautiful, and plays with the taste buds in ways you may have never experienced or expected. Big kudos to chef Adam on the swordfish for preparing possibly one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had, from someone who spent decades in expensive areas along the Florida coast.“
“I love the military support!Great atmosphere, decor was a little confused about its vision but still cool.Beers were solid. The BBA Thiic Stout was AMAZING, the blood orange IPA was very nice. The vanila porter and the oatmeal stout fell a little flat but they were still good. Be warned about their Hazy IPA- they warn you about the bitterness and they are not lying!Extensive food menu for what we were expecting from a brewery- cheese curds were very good.Kitchen clearly cooks from scratch, get your orders in ASAP if you arrive hungry.Indoor and outdoor seating. Good amount of parking.Beer and liquor options. Sports ball on the TV but thankfully there was music on and the commentary was (mostly) muted. The bartender was lackluster, unfortunately. Sweatpants to work is not something I’d allow for if this were my place, and I do expect my staff to greet people a bit faster - which he did… if he already knew your name- a greeting and a drink order and poured before he’d bother to look back at his bar top guests that he hadn’t checked in on in a few minutes- so great with the regulars, which we were not. He wasn’t very fast and honestly, just not welcoming enough for us to go out of our way to stop in the next time we are in town. Hopefully that is just us catching him on an off day, but if I were the owner, I’d rather know how to improve the ambiance than someone not express it.“

“We were visiting from Florida, and my mom suggested Dugan's for lunch. The food was delicious! My husband had a blackened chicken sandwich, I had a make your own burger, my brother had a Rueben burger, and mom had a Rueben sandwich. Everything was delicious, cooked as ordered and tasty. Our only negative was the chips tasted a little overcooked. However, we were too full to eat many anyway.“
“Excellent boutique hotel. Wife an I stayed here for two days, and it was wonderful. No need to leave the hotel except to play golf. If you do decide to do anything else all is within walking distance. Beautiful downtown area surrounding the hotel. FYI -This hotel is privately owned and not owned by big corporate.“

“Glad I went here. Walked in for lunch. Grabbed a chicken parm sub and a slice of pepperoni. Might be my favorite pizza place in the area. The fresh bread on the sub really sets the sandwich off. The pizza was excellent and didn't last long once I drove away. Light and crispy crust, flavorful sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on the pizza slice. I'll be back for sure. Service was excellent. Felt like a regular my first time in and I can't wait to get back and try the rest of the menu!“
