I know prices have risen lately but I just had a carne asada burrito 20 mins ago and had only r small pieces of meat in it. Simply unacceptable. Off the list!

I got birria, a cheese dip, and my husband got the fajitas. The birria was very salty the consume was too. The cheese dip was watery and the fajitas for the price were very small and bland. Had to pay extra for the chips which were not normal chips, got charged a service fee for using a debit card, and got charged for cups of water. It was 2.00 bucks for a teeny thing of red sauce which wasn't hot and a slightly bigger but still small thing of green sauce. Bill was 37.00 dollars for chips, cheese, fajitas, and the birria tacos. Tacos were small had hardly any cilantro, meat, or onion. On the side I got one quarter slice of lime, a cucumber slice, and 3 tiny radishes. I would not recommend.

Your local, "hole in the wall" restaurant. I would go out of my way to eat here. Home made Mexican style bakery. I believe they are actually el Salvadorean but great food, none the less. The pork carnitas tacos were perfect. Soft and moist in the middle and crunchy on the edges. The pupusas are perfect. If you don't like their pupusas, you don't like pupusas. Priced reasonable and speed of food was good. Get your authentic, high-quality food here.

Great restaurant! I always get burria tacos, and this trip, I'm trying the beef nachos. The atmosphere is always quiet basically because people usually call in for their orders. If you like Salvadoran food, this would be the place to go!
Best meal I’ve had in Wilkes - especially in the Latin food category. The chicken sopes were amazing and everyone was friendly.

Got a snack from their bakery cabinet. Lots of pastries to choose from! The triangular empanadas (with pineapple or vanilla cream) had a delicious cookie like texture. They've got a whole menu of Mexican and Salvadoran food too.

Stopped here on our way through Wilkesboro because of the high reviews and we weren’t disappointed. We ordered several plates of a variety of tacos and each one was delicious. The salsa was delicious. Highly recommend the birria tacos. And they were accommodating to our small children. We would definitely stop here again on our way through Wilkesboro.
