We're from NJ, we're quite Italian, we know pizza and Italian food. Honest to God, the Nonna Sicilian pie is the best pizza we ever had. Collectively, over 100 years of NY and NJ living and varying degrees of palates and commitment to the bit of being italian(lol) ans we all agreed. Fantastic.

This place is legit. Great sandwiches, excellent pies, you can watch them make Calzones. They deserve more Praise so they can add additional northeast high quality food. Go get em Boardwalk.

Place was great, helpful staff the pizza was as good as I've had in Wilmington (were from NY) only problem, no adult beverages. Pizza and beer is a thing. Otherwise it would be a 5 star.P.S. There is a little club next door that will let you order food from Boardwalk Pizza and eat there BUT my daughter (under 21 y.o.) by law isn't allowed to be on premises and we eat as a family.

I drove in to the window on Mother's Day. First off, the pizza: Totally Bangin' ! Sauce is on point and the dough and the crust and the balance of toppings-- yes, yes, and yes. Furthermore; they custom made me something that was not quite on the menu but was do-able and that just impressed me to no end. Thanks Boardwalk Pizza you ROCK!

Won't be back. Fourth try under new ownership. Steak & cheese neither consistent, nor good. . 45 minutes today for a standard pizza, while waiting, on a slow time , on a Sunday. I'm out.

I have been here many times under the past ownership and a few times under the new management for lunch. Today we tried to have dinner on Saturday night. The one HUGE red flag was the total lack of organization. There was a guy taking up one whole table to fold boxes on ( there's only two tables total). The other table was being used by a family waiting for their order so we had to just stand while we waited to dine in until he was done folding boxes (about 10 minutes). The other family had 1 item come out packaged for dine in when the order was to go. It was taken in the back and boxed. After another 30 minutes they inquired about their order and was told it was ready and just needed to be assembled. They waited another 10 minutes and no one even attempted to put the order together so they asked again. Finally someone came up and started assembling it and realized that they had given part of their order to someone else who had already left. They were told they could remake the item but it would be another 15-20 minutes. The staff then asked them if they would take the "incorrect item". They started to take it but then realized that the "incorrect order" was part of my order so they left it and asked for a refund. I was then given that item and asked about our other item and saw it had been sitting on the warmer this entire time. Both of our items were lukewarm as they had been sitting there for probably 15 minutes already. Also, the bottom of the pizza oven needs to be cleaned as the bottoms of both of our items tasted like the burnt stuff on the bottom of the stove. We ate what we could and threw away the rest of our dinner (almost 3/4 of it) After the family left the staff proceeded to speak terribly about the family and try to blame the issues on them. The family did absolutely nothing wrong. The guy making the pizza told the dad in the family to stop being an "**** when he was just asking for a refund for his unfulfilled order. He then tried to argue with the man and state that "you can't come into a Pizza place in a Saturday night and expect food in a half an hour (it was much more than that) The staff continued swearing and stating that "I guess we'll have to apologize on Facebook tomorrow". The guy in charge kept telling his staff that it was "not a big deal" and they just need to work on things. So unprofessional and shocking to see in a place of business.

Apparently they are under new management/ownership. I don't know when the change occurred. I ate pizza from here a long time ago and it wasn't memorable. However, we had this pizza last weekend and we were very impressed. The pizza was really tasty, topping to cheese ratio was perfect. Crust was cooked perfectly as well. We had a Cesar salad with our order and it was delicious. Nice fresh lettuce. I would order here again and recommend this place.

Had the calzone and it was fantastic. The guy behind the counter said a little bit if the crust fell off while cooking. He then offered to make a new one or I could eat it, and if I didn't like it, he would give me one for free.Nice place, great prices, and great food. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Chicken Parm sub didn’t have any marinara on it? Italian Sub had mayo on it? We used to LOVE this place when it was the old owners** update. Make sure you take pictures or you will be accused of lying. Will not be going back.
This was my first time back into Boardwalk Pizza since the new owners took over and the pizza was incredible! Plus, if your a fan of hot sauce on your pizza they sell a specialty brand behind the counter and trust me you won’t regret it. Will 100% be back - highly recommended!

Excellent customer service, our calzone was missing the toppings we ordered. We called just to give them a heads up. They remade the whole order, we told it wasn't necessary but they insisted. I was really impressed, they went above and beyond. I'm so glad they have opened back up, they will definitely be getting our business.

Got my second takeout order tonight since the reopening and it was just as delicious as the first! Easy online ordering and the drive thru for pickup is very convenient.The texture and flavor of their pizza crust is my favorite in town. My whole family is hooked on the Sir Meats a Lot but I got half as a Hawaiin tonight and it was the bomb. Can't wait to try some sandwiches as well!

We visited shortly after they reopened, under new owners... best pizza we've had in awhile! Hot and fresh and the crust was perfect. Even if you had a previously bad experience with the old owners, it's definitely worth another visit! We will be back!

After hearing so many good reviews I had to try Boardwalk myself! I got the Grand Italian Sub as it came it and was awesome! Everything was fresh and tasted great! My roomate got the Chicken Parmesan Sub and he says " That S*it was fn delicious I dont know any other words to describe how good it was." OTHER than the food, The staff was very friendly and attentive the restaurant had the cleanest kitchen I've ever seen and I will def be back!
