Our waitress was very personable. The shrimp & grits was spicy and very good. I like the “cakes” of grits, because the grits do not get soupy in the andouille sauce.

Ashley, the owner, is wonderful. I came from Atlanta, Georgia, and I put in seafood restaurants. The boathouse came up. I decided to try it. I'm so glad I did food . the staff was friendly. I loved this restaurant. I recommend everyone to stop by and get some good seafood and friendly service from Boathouse Restaurant in Wilmington, North Carolina. Our server Kylie (known as Taylor Swift) to us, was amazing! She had the patience of a saint as we decided what to eat. Very sweet and very attentive. Nice food, but we were just so burned out and wind blown from the beach day that we had a hard time enjoying our meal. Great salads!

There's not much here that isn't fried; even the chips for the artichoke dip were. Blackened salmon on salad was good, shrimp on salad became soggy quickly.Parking: Looks like an old fast food building with plenty of parking on all sides of building.

Good variety of food. Excellently fried seafood ... not heavily breaded. Chicken Breast was tender, but did not care for then gravy served over it! Excellent iced tea!! Customer Service was great .. very friendly and repeatedly came to the table to check on us.Look forward to going back!!

First place we had seafood in Wilmington. Portion sizes were excellent for the price. Ribs and Flounder were amazing. The meat fell right off the bone. Very fresh sides. Service was great and our food arrived quickly. Definitely worth a visit!

Great place to enjoy seafood. Portions are very good as I need a box every time I visit. Service is great, along with plenty of space for the accommodation. You won't be disappointed!
The food was tasteless. All of it lacked seasonings. We ordered a two way fried platter combination with clam strips and flounder, a baked potato and fried squash, a shrimp alfredo with grilled shrimp and a side of baked apples, and a chicken alfredo with blackened chicken and a side of fries. The portions were good but it was so bland. I added salt, which I rarely use, and it was still tasteless. I ended up not eating the flounder. The garlic toast was the best part of the alfredo dishes. We went home disappointed and $70 lighter in the pocket.
