Never had anything like these stuff croissants before in my life and soooo good!! Honestly, I’m glad that this place is in NC and not in Myrtle Beach or Conway area cause I probably will gain like 20 pounds. Highly recommend on checking this place out!
I cannot recommend Burney's (Wilmington location specifcially) enough! The owner, Anthony, is incredibly kind and generous. I used them for my wedding desserts and got 6 flavors of croissants, cake balls, white wedding cake and a 15 layer caramel cake. Several people told me it was the best wedding cake they have ever had. My only regret is not getting more croissants because they were gone SO FAST - people are still talking about them! Not only was the quality of everything amazing (as it always is when I'm just visiting the store), but everyone was so kind and helpful. I did several tastings and this one was by far the best (in flavor and service), they have so many options, are super customizable, have a reliable staff - truly everything you could want in a local bakery or a wedding vendor!

Love burneys! We have always loved their sweets and bagels but recently used their bakery for my bridal shower cake and it turned out amazing!! So many compliments! Can’t wait to use them for our wedding cake!

Our favorite treats spot! I haven't tried anything that I don't like. All of the croissant treats are delicious and a family favorite. The staff is incredibly kind. And the prices are super reasonable. We love this restaurant so much.

Wow, the filled croissants are amazing! Tried several flavors - chocolate and vanilla buttercream, apple pie, hot fudge sundae, and cream cheese. Price is very reasonable too with specialty ones a little bit more than regular flavors. Will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely the best chocolate croissant I’ve ever had! I’ve come back three weeks in a row. The breakfast sandwiches and bagels are great and the breakfast bowl was wonderful. I’ve always thought a sign of a great restaurant is not needing to add any salt or pepper your food and I didn’t feel the need to and anything to my breakfast bowl. Highly recommend!
I ordered a coconut cake for the birthday of a V.I.P. in Wilmington, at the Mayfaire Burneys Sweets location. The coconut cake was exquisite and much better than the closest Asian restaurant competition! the price was better as well! we will be ordeeing future cakes from Anthony at this location! saweeet!!

Best bagels in town!! Was walking in Mayfair this morning and saw their sign for bagels. Had to stop in and try as they just started today, and WOW! I have been in Wilmington for a long time and this is the best bagel/sandwich ive had yet.
